The location was absolutely fantastic, in the middle of a stunning valley. Chilling on the sunbeds on the terrace was amazing, especially at night with the lights off. Only sounds of nature and stars. The rooms were simple but so clean and with everything you need, the staff was so sweet and caring, but never invasive. I had an incredible stay. It was hard to leave that place.

Every person I met there, including the host, were very friendly and helpful.

Situated in Chã de Arroz, Ribeira Grande in the Santo Antao region, Ribeira Grande Country House offers accommodation with free WiFi. Complimentary private parking is available on site. The location was excellent within a short 5 min walk to the bustling town. Our fully self-contained apartment was well furnished, fully equipped & immaculately clean.. Gracinda was on hand to assist with any issues or problems and couldn't do enough to ensure that our stay was the best it could be - outstanding and we would return. We fell in love with the area, the island and it's people - thank you.

It’s great quiet place, ideal for morning or evening runs! The house has all the equipment for cooking, warm water, an OK wifi. It’s beautifully furnished, vegan breakfast option is possible! If you don’t rent a car, be sure to bring enough drinking water and food from the city. Any taxi can drive you there from Porto Novo for 500 CVE (aprox 5€), walking there is an option but not the best idea during the hottest part of day 11-15:00.
