SookePoint Ocean Cottage Resort is set in Sooke, 23 km from Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre and 3 km from East Sooke Park. Free WiFi is available. All rooms in the resort offer a sea view. The location, on a cliff facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca, was fantastic. The cottage itself was very modern, well-equipped for cooking, immaculate with a great shower and deep bathtub. Even in November, the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling glass balcony doors are worth throwing open to see, hear and feel the sea air and waves directly below. Hummingbirds visited each day. Everything was very high quality and the staff in reception was very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were straight-forward.

Set within 7.7 km of Brentwood Bay Ferry Terminal and 11 km of The Butchart Gardens in North Saanich, Coles Bay Vacation Retreat features accommodation with seating area. Excellent breakfast. Lots of coffee, tea, sugar, cereal etc. Rooms were large and spacious with comfortable beds. Living room opend on to patio and garden. Kitchen and bathroom and equipment were both high quality.

Nestled in Robson Valley, this B&B is just 15 minutes’ drive from Cariboo Snowcat Skiing. It offers a full breakfast. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The host was very kind, helpfull and attentive to our needs. We highly recommand this place.

Located in the Nanoose Estuary, this inn is completely surrounded by wetlands and borders the Qualicom National Wildlife Area. Its architecture is inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is such a magical place, we really wish we would have stayed longer. The whole place and the wetlands around are the perfect hideout to relax! We hope to be back in the near future!

Featuring inner courtyard views, Beautiful Home in Burnaby. (Lyn's Residence) offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 16 km from Vancouver Olympic Centre. Lyn was an incredibly gracious host. We stayed in the same space as she lives, which was a surprise, but she was careful to give us space and provided us with fresh croissants for breakfast. Instant coffee and powdered creamer were available but we brought our own. She was helpful in collecting any of our missing items that we ended up having to go back and collect, and at which point she was still very kind and gracious with us. We would certainly stay again. The host Lorraine is super friendly and welcoming. She provided us with all the proper information ahead of time and was there to greet us and gave us a tour of the place and offered some recommendations. Her dogs were super friendly as well. She followed up the next day to see how our stay was and made sure if we needed anything that we can text her to ask for recommendations while we were in town.
