SookePoint Ocean Cottage Resort is set in Sooke, 23 km from Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre and 3 km from East Sooke Park. Free WiFi is available. All rooms in the resort offer a sea view. The location, on a cliff facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca, was fantastic. The cottage itself was very modern, well-equipped for cooking, immaculate with a great shower and deep bathtub. Even in November, the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling glass balcony doors are worth throwing open to see, hear and feel the sea air and waves directly below. Hummingbirds visited each day. Everything was very high quality and the staff in reception was very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were straight-forward.

Campbell Cottage B&B is located in the Old City Quarter of Nanaimo. Free WiFi access is available. The host was great. lovely woman, very kind and welcomed me.. even that i was earlier than i said. great breakfast too. cant complain

We stayed in the same space as she lives, which was a surprise, but she was careful to give us space and provided us with fresh croissants for breakfast. Instant coffee and powdered creamer were available but we brought our own. She was helpful in collecting any of our missing items that we ended up having to go back and collect, and at which point she was still very kind and gracious with us. We would certainly stay again. The host Lorraine is super friendly and welcoming. She provided us with all the proper information ahead of time and was there to greet us and gave us a tour of the place and offered some recommendations. Her dogs were super friendly as well. She followed up the next day to see how our stay was and made sure if we needed anything that we can text her to ask for recommendations while we were in town.
