You have a private riverside seating area as well with the option to swim. Two cute dogs will welcome you in the morning and when you return from a tour or dinner. Ant it comes with lots of extras: strong wifi, washing machine and dryer, super comfy towels, a hammock, many kitchen devices. The owner is friendly and quick in responding, there is the option to book tours, and Albert, the caretaker of the house, is very friendly and helpful. If you are in this region and the cabine is available, book it!

The apartment was beautiful and immerse in nature. Larry, the host, really makes you feel at home. Always friendly and helpful with any request. He introduced us to Dan, wonderful and kind guide who helped us discover the beauty of San Ignacio area.

We had a wonderful time at Hummingbird Rest. The cabana is spacious and so well equipped. The shower was super hot, the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, the outdoor area was so lush and gorgeous. We loved laying out in the hammock and watching the hummingbirds fly past.

We stayed four nights in the roof top suite. When we decided to book our flight two days later than planned, Virginia was able to get us into one of her four villas detached from the main house. Both are excellent accommodations. The owner is very accommodating at booking tours, arranging transportation to and from town, and providing a breakfast service. You will be glad you made this choice.

The hospitality and food were great. Everyone was very friendly and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. This place is immaculately clean. The location is quiet, serene, and beautiful . The building itself was gorgeous with strong wood accent and dark mahogany colors. I loved all the verandas and balconies. You could close your room up or make it a lovely indoor outdoor space. Kids 9 and 12 loved it too. I would definitely come back.
