Nice quiet location. The room/ cottage was cosy and full of character and a quite comfortable. The use of th esurrounding grounds was nice to be able sit out and look over the vineyards.
Location to the main street for dining. Being able to walk the very short distance. House was very clean & felt very private with the cottage gardens surrounding the property.
We arrived on a 40 degree day and we met by a beautifully cooled cottage that provided much needed respite! We instantly cracked the wine and got stuck into the cheese platter which was the perfect way to instantly unwind. The cottage is immaculate with such an attention to detail. Thoughtfully decorated, it was both charming and so comfortable.
The location was very convenient. Beautiful and cosy cottages. Our friends stayed in the 2nd cottage. Well-equipped with everything required. Very generous breakfast provisions and cheese platter. Enjoyed the complimentary gin
The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The food provisions left were generous and so tasty- bacon , sausages, ham, eggs, chocolate frogs, butter, milk and wine. The 3 dogs were so friendly and would visit us at the cottage. It was nice to see the chooks running around, seeing the cows being milked and the pigs. My kid loved it. As a bonus there were also some newly born puppies and a hours old calf.
I have been coming to stay at, Country Pleasures for some years now, and have delightfully encouraged friends and family to stay, some of which I know have consequently, took my recommendation. I always enjoy the cosy, quiet nature of the cottages laced with a few little luxuries. It’s always been clean and being a city girl, I enjoy the warmth and calm the fireplace brings.
The location was perfect and the cozy cottage very comfortable, the floor heating in the kitchen and bathroom was fantastic
We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this 110 year old Heritage Cottage in the centre of the village. It is essy walking distance to many Eateries and a local pub. The hosts also provide a BBQ and bikes and nothing was too much trouble so highly recommend and look forward to our next visit. Plus the bed was very comfortable
