Gorgeous property surrounded by mountains, fruit orchards and vineyards, water, and a nature reserve. Property was about a 12 minutes drive into Franschhoek town, restaurants, and vineyards. What stood out was Tim’s exceptional hospitality. He was so helpful in planning our stay, making recommendations, making reservations, etc. He even helped us find and book a reservation at our next stop. Thanks, Tim! Would definitely come here again to rest and relax!

When a property has a review rating of 9.9 you expect a lot! In fact I was completely unrealistic in my expectations - only to find them exceeded by our host and his magnificent property! The attention to detail, the friendliness, the unexpected extras, the quality of the furnishings, the immaculate cleanliness, the centrality of the property, the information provided on every possible question regarding sites, wine-farms, restaurants, etc. We have travelled extensively, both locally in SA and in more than 25 countries Internationally, but have never experienced such hospitality, nor service! Jan has done so much more than could ever be expected from a host - in the end you end up feeling spoilt and even a little guilty! Absolutely brilliant, exceptional, perfect - a new standard in hosting! WE hope to return soon!

Beautiful location and privacy. Christelle was very responsive to any questions. She greeted us at check in. Cottage has a Mediterranean feel to it. There are grape vines growing around it and even though there is no ac, it is always cool inside, maybe because of the construction. There is also a nice sitting area outside for breakfast and just chilling in the evening. We stayed at milkwood and it has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. We will definitely be staying here when we are in Franschhoek again. Thanks

The garden setting is very beautiful and quiet, yet it's very close to the main street. It has everything you need, including some support for dealing with the load shedding (wifi remains active, and there are some battery powered lights when needed). It's a beautiful place to walk home to after a nice day out in the vineyards.
