We also chose to pay extra to eat a set dinner at the property and it was great, we were served salmon in panko style breadcrumbs, another salmon dish in citrus sauce, stir fried courgette flowers, fries and rice. I went trekking and stood in a huge muddy puddle and the owner kindly washed my trainers for me. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Chee MeeSolo traveller - 8.3Scored 8.3Very goodRated very good· 6 reviewsI was just heading back to Sapa after staying at one of the homestays , saw this property and booked it through booking.com as was a bit difficult communicating with the staff present there, and later upgraded to the independent cottage as that's where i wanted to stay, really liked the stay and the food provided, was clean , beds were comfy , view from the balcony was great, the owners were helpful and kept in touch throughout the stay. Will definitely come back and stay here someday again.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, not only serving the best vegan based food in town but also telling stories about the development process of Ta Phin cottage so that we learned and were impressed about the hard-working and professionalism they put into running the place. In addition, we are so in love with the peaceful environment here which makes us feel a lot like being at home. We truly enjoyed our 2-day stay here and will definitely return as soon as we can.
