The owner and all the staff are very very nice and welcoming and made us feel at home. We were welcomed with a piece of cake and some mandarins. We had a great time and we learned a lot about live in Somone. The room is very cozy, spacious and clean. Hot water in the bathroom! We liked the shared kitchen/living room and cooked our meals there. The location is perfect, in a quiet street but close to the beach and the center.

The place is really nice, the bungalow is spacious and there's a good ceiling fan which was silent, very rare to find! The pool was very nice too, good for a dip as the ocean can be a bit rough for swimming. The restaurant offers set meals with 3 options. We worked at night in La Somone and it was great fun to drive in the very early morning back to the lodge. I was worried at first as I read some reviews on water and electricity but we had no problem at all. There was always water when needed, and never had problem with electricity either. The atmosphere was very relaxed and quiet. I loved the location and the walk between the room and the main restaurant. Will be back soon.
