Our evening meal here was also wonderful, and there is a reasonable selection of wines by the glass. The small spa was a lovely surprise, and our room was comfortable, cosy and warm. We loved the sunsets on the balcony and the staff was absolutely fantastic - every wish fulfilled. The private sauna was an absolute unexpected bonus. We will be back!

The rooms are cozy and very clean. The breakfast is outstanding with many choices and even a waffle machine. Having a delicious glutenfree breakfast is easy here. Very close to a beautiful lake.

It is also not as busy and crowded like the bruk hotel. We stayed in both hotels for one night each because of xc skiing and I would now choose Hotell Skommarsgården every time over the bruk hotel. The only thing missing is a sauna but you can also use the one at the bruk hotel for 40 SEK. Breakfast was not as broad but the essentials were there together with a nice coffee.
