He gifted us with a bottle made from the farm's vineyard. Quiet and private. Property is next to a monastery. About 10-12 minute drive to the center of Ponte da Barca for many restaurant choices. Very chic & efficient remodel of historic building. Well equipped efficiency kitchen. Host provides foods for DIY breakfast.

Simply amazing! These 2 Ladies are super polite & extremely welcoming! We felt at home! Everything was really amazing and the staff were simply the best! Fantastic accomodation and one of the best equipped places we have stayed at (out of many). The house is very modern and comfortable. The surrounding land spaces including bbq area and pool are private, great places to relax. We thoroughly recommend and could have stayed longer.

This was a unique experience. The Casa is in a very tiny grouping of old stone buildings which surround a small chapel (10 ft from the front door). The roads were extremely tight and we were glad we came during the day light. The space inside is basically 2 rooms and a bathroom which have totally been renovated. It was very clean and there was everything you need to fix a simple meal. (There is no place to eat nearby). It was nice to sleep with the windows open and enjoy the fresh air. It wasn't completely quiet though. The farm next door had some early rising roosters, the little pack of village dogs liked to bark, and the church bells ring loudly every 1/2 hour from 6am to 10:30pm.
