Aji's Fruit Farm is a unique place to stay. The cottage/bungalow has two bedrooms, complete kitchen facilities, air-conditioning and a washing machine!!! The wide verandah has comfortable table and chairs for relaxing and taking in the breeze. The cottage is situated amid grassy coconut groves on an award-winning fruit farm. Just meters away is the property lake front where you can swim. At the you have a lovely cabana, hammocks and swing (with outdoor restaurant under construction). Sunrise view from the cabana should not be missed followed by a delicious breakfast. Aji is a wonderful, thoughtful host. The accommodation is about 30 minutes from Uda Walawe NP, so within easy access, and a lovely peaceful alternative. We were sorry we could only stay one night.

Stunning location! Properly isolated and very peaceful. The room is big and spacious with a superb view of the lake and mountains. We had an amazing time here and got to relax and unwind with the family. The caretaker also really went out of his way to look after us. We also got the chance to go to Udawalawe national park and see elephants. Overall the trip was perfect especially at that price! I wish we could have stayed for more days but we have made plans to come again for a longer stay. A hidden Jewel!

We had an awesome stay at the Sandalwood cottage. The family is very friendly, warm and welcoming and the breakfast that was included in the price was great! Also, the dinner and lunch that we asked for additionally was very delicious. The room was very comfortable and it was great to just sit and relax in front of our cabin and see a lot of different plants and colourful birds. There are some insects in the cabin, but due to the mosquito net that fitted very well above our large bed, that did not bother us. We would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful place. Thank you for everything! 🥰

I had a wonderful stay in a lovely little bungalow overlooking the river from where I was even able to see some monkeys. The property is just beautiful, a little calm and peaceful oasis. It is a bit remote, but that was okay because everything in terms of food was provided at the property. Everyone working at the hotel is incredibly welcoming and attentive to all possible needs. The breakfast was probably the best one I had in Sri Lanka so far. I booked my Safari through them and had a great experience.

We were warmly welcomed and the place is loved by adults as well as children. Asanka's wife Sadamali prepared our dinner and it was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. The hotel arranged the safari. The jeep driver who provides excellent service is the best guide. The sound of the river is like a bavana throughout the night. Love it.

A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

The friendliest hosts one could have! super location in the jungle by a river, amazing food prepared by Nadika and they were ever so helpful and kind. They helped us organise a safari which we thought was a bit pricy but it was a wonderful experience! Super good value for the money!
