The house is very big and easily accomodated our group. It was clean. Comfortable beds and a private onsen bath. The kitchen has all utensils that you'll need. In the area are multiple reastaurants and shops. There are multiple public onsen nearby as well if you want to go there. The streets around the house are small so if you go there with a larger vehicle its a bit of a tight squeeze.

The location was also great, 10 mins from the conbini and the bus station. There was an incredible view of Beppu city, with the onsen steam, the sea and the mountains. It was walking distance to the castle and most of the Beppu Hells. Highly recommended!

The house is situated at about 15-20 min walk from the Beppu station, along the river in a very nice neighborhood.

The place is charming, with a classic atmosphere in this old but cozy and nice building. The onsen is very good (you can make a reservation for a private experience) and the owner is a lovely Japanese lady. The location is also great, just a couple of blocks from the station and very close to the sea. We recommend this place!
