This is a small, family-run business but was one of the best places we have ever stayed at in any country. The property is located in a beautiful part of the Tuscan countryside, with superb sunrise views in the morning and a wonderful starlit sky in the evening. Access to Montepulciano and surrounding area by car is relatively easy. The rooms were extremely large, spacious and clean, with a rustic but very tasteful decor. The facilities were also excellent. We loved the open-air pool and jacuzzi with a beautiful view into the surrounding fields. The hosts, Tomasso, Andrea and Rosanna, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. They made us feel at home in every way and helped elevate the stay into an unforgettable experience. The breakfast, which deserves special mention, consists mostly of produce, including eggs, tomatoes, figs etc, which were grown/produced at the property itself, and was one of the best meals we had in Italy. At the end of the stay Tomasso and Andrea told us that the name of the property means "respect for the field/earth", and I felt that approach was fully reflected in the excellence of the food and the stay. The only negative is that we didn't stay for longer. 10/10 would return next time we are back in Tuscany.

This small house is amazingly decorated, it feels so cozy. There are 2 floors, a bedroom is on the 2nd floor with a balcony offering an amazing view. An apartment is very spacious and located in the old building in the historical part of the town. It was restored in way so you can see old walls and wooden beams structure. Internet was ok, as water pressure in the shower. Location is quite. Kitchen is basic, but has everything you need. Luigi (Francesca's husband) met us with a key and helped with luggage. Important note, you can't drive to the place since this is ZTL, you need to find a place to park your car. Luigi helped us with that. Also worth mentioning nice present from Francesca - a very good wine :). They both tried to create this special Christmas vibe in every detail. We are very grateful for that. We really like the place and would definitely return.

Laura’s house is like herself - worm and welcoming! We’ve enjoyed every moment of our stay in this beautiful traditional house and very nice little town perfectly positioned for exploring Val d’Orcia. The house has everything you need for comfortable family stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and inspiring for cooking :) Beds are comfy and after a good sleep you can take a morning glance of a beautiful surrounding through the upper bedroom window. Laura is one special lady, the best host we have ever had and we are happy to be her guests again!

Beautiful house in real tuscan surroundings! Clean, cosy and authentic. Roberta is an excellent host, but the dog Milo is the greatest 😍! Would definitely recommend this great place! We will come back for sure!!!

Chiarentana had the perfect location near Val D’Orcia. The villa estate was authentically Toscano. It was romantic and dreamy. Even for a couple of nights you feel like you have your own estate. The olive trees surrounding the expansive property. Kitchen was highly functional. Wasn’t able to use the laundry area or the swimming pool

Country House Grencaia is an Italian dream oasis set in the stunning location of Montepulciano. Franco and Carla welcome and care for you as if family, always available to help you with anything you may need so you stay is magical and memorable. There are so many spots to explore in the area and Franco and Carla shared great recommendations on where to visit and eat. The property is just beautiful and spacious. The pool area is tranquil and with a full kitchen you have all options to eat at your finger tips. Bed rooms comfortable and neat. Location is great but would suggest you have a car so you can venture out and really get to enjoy the region. I’ve recommended this place to so many and without a doubt I will be back.

The property is beautiful. The apartment we stayed was huge, two larges bedroom with large and brand-new bathrooms. The breakfast was delicious with many options, with homemade food and beverage. The staffs were all very lovely and friendly. Even Dora, the cute dog that lives there. We did a great wine tasting with a Tagliere with local Olive Oil, cheeses, prosciutto, pies and sweets. The host was very attentions and helpful, explained everything and we learned a lot about Tuscan wines. The property is quite close of Montalcino, and many other Tuscan villages worth to visit. I would suggest more options about visiting the grapes and olives terroir and the wine and olive oil production. However I could walk around and it was lovely enjoy the beautiful views on the property and enjoy the peace and silence there
