The place was very quiet: it was a Shavuot Holiday, probably, the most wanted time of the year for such a trip, but we haven't heard any noise, we barely noticed our neighbors. In the past 15 years I travelled a lot in Israel and the First Light Cabins are definetely among the best places I stayed at. The Cabins are very well maintained, very clean, offer a lot of privacy and have a superb view to the Sea of Galilee. The host, Shalom, is very charming, generous and helpful. The whole place and the village is very peaceful and inspiring. In the neighbor village of Shefer you find a very good Fallafel-Stand. Very good hiking in the area (e.g., Nahal Amud, Parod Falls, Mount Meron).
