The hosts very generously provided fruit and a plate of local specialties as well as some drinks. They were accommodating of our late arrival time and early departure. The house was very clean and comfortable and well stocked and had a lovely view of the river and valley. The kitchen was well-stocked and had all the essential cooking gear.

The hosts' welcome was absolutely great. They met us at the house and made us feel at home. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay. The house is lovely, close to the wonderful river Gacka (kayak rental just 5min away) and the kids loved playing / reading in the garden around the house after a day visiting sites. It is also less than an hour a way from Plitvice National Park.

This is a house with good energy. The hosts tried very hard, they saw wine, sweet snacks and juice waiting for us. The old decor emphasized the attractiveness of the interior. Despite the high temperatures and the lack of air conditioning, it was chilly inside. We rested there very much before the onward journey. There is a bear shelter and a museum of the Velebit Mountains in the vicinity.
