We stayed at Petinos House for 3 nights in May 2024 and had a fabulous time. We couldn't fault the accommodation. It's an old fisherman's cottage full of character and was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. The real wow factor for us though was the location of the cottage on the beach front in Korfos, with stunning views from the terrace to the front during the day and at night, with the lights of Fira twinkling across the bay. Korfos is busy during the day with various tourist boats stopping off but is quiet during the evenings. Which brings up the matter of eating options. There are probably 10 or more restaurants in Korfos but they were all pretty much closed in the evenings after the tourist boats have left. Whether that changes later in the season I can't say. The restaurant next door (the Windmill) oversees Petinos' house and offered us the option of eating there after the restaurant had technically closed and we had a couple of lovely mesls there (swordfish - yum!) There are a few restaurant up in the village of Manolas (we didn't eat there, so no recommendations) and the many steps up to Manolas will become familiar to you if you stay for a few days! ;) We did two fabulous walks while we were there, which show you a lot of the island. 1/ Up the steps to Manolas (a quaint little village of fisherman's houses) then following the road down the hill west to the equally quaint village of Potamos, and north to the village of Riva Cove. There are a couple of restaurants here, and we ate at the Agistri restaurant, a lovely traditional Greek taverna where owner Nikos treated us to ouzo, raki, wine and fabulous Greek hospitality! We had a lunch of fresh sardines, okra, etc., then caught the late afternoon ferry back to Korfos. We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! 2/ Up the steps to Manolas, the south to Panayia, a church/monastery on the southern tip of the island.

We had a fantastic 10-day stay at this property. The host was incredibly friendly, generous, and always available to assist us. The house is wonderfully secluded, ensuring a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The sunset view at night was simply breathtaking! Inside, the house exceeded our expectations in terms of size; we were pleasantly surprised. It's fully equipped, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

Emplacement de rêve pour visiter Oia. La villa troglodyte est pleine de charme, dépaysante, la terrasse est très agréable et la vue mer à couper le souffle. A l’écart de la foule mais en plein cœur du village. Avec une vue magnifique sur la caldeira et l’église aux 3 dômes bleus, symbole de la Grèce. Une trouvaille!! La conciergerie a été aimable et efficace. Un jeune homme est venu nous aider pour les bagages, car la villa n’est accessible qu’à pied après une descente d’escaliers

The breakfast they brought us was delicious and the view in the jacuzzi is spectacular. Host was always answering us every time we needed it. We enjoyed our stay!

Superbe appartement pour deux sur la baie Ammoudi, loin de la partie plus touristique on peut voir le coucher de soleil du balcon. Pour aller à la partie haute d’Oia il faut prendre des escaliers, 10 minutes à pieds vers le haut. Nicole, excellente hôte, elle laisse beaucoup des petits détails à l’appart pour avoir la vie plus facile.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Very good homemade breakfast served in beautiful baskets with food and juice more than I could eat …waiting for me every morning …. even though ones I woke up too late ( after 12:00) The owner Nikos, was very friendly and helpful!!! Great location !!! with view to the best sunset in Oia, plus the option of 3 fish restaurants just in 1 min walking distance. I hope to be back soon for my next visit in the future!!! The best experience for someone who needs a good relax and escape from every day routine .

This is an exceptional property. Perfectly simple. The rooftop terrace has the best views in Oia. The manager, Fitim is very attentive and answers texts promptly. One of the best places we have stayed.

The property has some epic views overlooking the ocean. The views of the sunset are very pretty and we did not need to go down to the bay to view it, the view from our rooms balcony was itself very incredible.
