We loved staying at this spacious house! We had a 10-day long stay for a family reunion coming from 3 different countries. This house was a perfect spot for it. It offers all the necessities for a North American, including a washer and a dryer which is pretty rare for rentals in Europe. Large kitchen was a real hub for my family, we cooked lots of meals and had great conversations there. The house has large windows with blinds and curtains, each window opens for ventilation. There is a conditioner which we didn't need (stayed at the end of August and temperatures were just right). The beds were comfortable, we had lots of towels and bedding to access. It was very quiet at night, so we had amaxing sleep. 3 rooms with big beds allowed us all to fit in comfortably, and the host also offered an extra matress. The host was very helpful and friendly, addressed all our concerns and offered great solutions. He replied to messages quickly and was always ready to assist us. We briefly met his family, too, which brought in a nice human touch to our rental experience. It was great to chat with them about living in Joensuu and Finland. The location offers easy acces to a small grocery store ( 5 min walk) and downtown area (15 min walk). We found a lovely lunch buffet restaurant 10 min walk away (Ravintola Usva). There are also several playgrounds and a patch of real forest in the next block where we loved walking. Overall, great location, great house and great host, so definitely recommend! We will come to stay there again next summer!

excellent place, clean, with everything you need. comfortable. double shower. small river very close. modern.
