We were a group of nine, 6 of us hiking the Camino del Norte. With a car, it worked as a hub for the last 3 sections of the trail. We entered Santiago de Compostela on the final. We fixed our own meals and enjoyed a fire in their barbecue. It is in a semi rural setting. Best if someone in your group is fluent in Spanish. Without that the orientation to the house would be a struggle.

A beautiful country inn about 5 km from the Camino. It’s in a small, lovely village. Lovely countrified room and common areas full of tradition and character. The owner is very friendly, who also prepares dinner and breakfast and takes his cooking very seriously. We didn’t have dinner, but we had a small, simple delicious breakfast. Believe it or not, we had never had toast that tasted as good as his. He said it was a secret recipe.
