The best part of the place is the amazing view. The ocean breezes keep the balcony and cabana cool if you want to open it up for the fresh air. The way it is positioned you don't get hit by the afternoon sun directly so it's a really nice spot to relax. Additionally, the cabana has a lot of small touches and finishing that make it feel really elegant. They didn't just throw together a cabana but you can see the really put time into making it nice.

The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!

We loved our stay in Posada la Ofelia.✨ It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re planning to visit tayrona park and some beaches nearby. Since the place is really in the middle of the jungle, we saw lots of animals, while hiking to the posada and in the posada itself. (we didn’t see animals in tayrona park btw) Also, food is just amazing! We had dinner everynight in the house. Best meals we had during our trip. A cozy accommodation in a great location! The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. It is a 20 minute walk to the main entrance of the park and there are many nice restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and we slept well in the bed. There is a nice pool that is shared with other guests, but we had it to ourselves most of the time. There were also friendly pets that would come and say hello. Thank-you for such a lovely stay!
