Everybody who likes to enjoy a lonely and calm place will love this cottage. If you don't need a television, a hairdryer or wifi come here and listen to the birds while you have a warm bath in the hotpot.

I absolutely loved the keybox. No hurry to make it in time, you can arrive on your own terms and do not have to bother anyone. Huge plus! Also a huge plus on the kitchen pans and pots. High quality for sure! Everything was there, including coffee and a few herbs and salt. Also the bathroom was equipped with shampoo and showergel. There was even a spray against the mosquitos. Some windows are equipped with mosquito nets, which helped a lot! The place was spacious and lovely decorated (I loved the tiny cards and letters everywhere in the house, which described everything to the guests in multiple languages). The outdoor seating area is lovely (there are a few different terrasses and you can choose basically every direction, there are several outdoor seating options). I would be cautious if you have issues with climbing steep steps, as the upper floor is only accessible through a steep staircase. If you are fit and healthy, no issues there. The road to the house is a bit bumpy (last 200m are not paved) and it is quite steep. I had no problem with driving there, as I am used to steeper mountain roads, but keep this in mind. You are rewarded with a quiet, remote house in the middle of the forest, with a spectacular view. Worth the drive, I assure you!

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was most welcome. Owners were very helpful and it was easy to find our key. Great parking and location. Breakfast was good, would definitely stay again.

A lovely place to stay: the apartment looks brand new and is spotless. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, there's a Nespresso-style coffee machine (with coffee too :)). There are some useful tourist brochures in the living room, as well as board games (a big plus for families). The area is peaceful and quiet, the hosts are very nice and welcoming people. However, best of all is the garden. Beautiful greenery and anything that grows there is up for grabs for guests (we were there in raspberry season and loved picking the sweet and ripe raspberries). If you're lucky, the hens might even produce fresh eggs for you (they were being lazy during our stay). And, to save the best for last, there's the incredible view: towering mountains all around with Lago Maggiore in the background.
