It was a nice apartment above a family's home where the little girl Samuela was the main host with her amazing English! What a delight! The whole family was very attentive. The apartment had everything a family might need, even a washing machine which I took full advantage of. The breakfast was a fiest. I was able to park inside the fenced in property. The place is only a few minutes drive away from downtown area. If you come in this area, you should definitely stay here!

The street is really quiet. We enjoied the stay a lot. There is a 3 minute walk up a hill from parking. Berat is really hilly, tight, steep streets so it's a + there even is a parking.

Manteo and his wife were very welcoming, and because it is a small guest house, you really feel welcomed into thier home. We enjoyed the small courtyard to have a few glasses of wine and Manteo helped us a lot with tips and finding our way around. Location is perfect tucked into the historic streets of berat.

The house has been beautifully restored retaining its heritage but has all the modern comforts (comfy bed, hotel quality sheets and powerful shower). Antonelli and his family couldn't be more friendly and hospitable giving great tips for where to visit, carrying our bags, a delicious welcome cake and breakfast. We also had dinner one evening which was fantastic... definitely recommend the red wine from the family's vineyard! The outside area is gorgeous, perfect for watching the sunset over the city.
