The room was large and had a refrigerator in it. The balcony was large and fairly private. The location is close to many attractions in the area. The property has character, it is older but well maintained and they have attempted to retain much of the original architecture style and features.

Room was basic but comfortable (tea and coffee facilities, but no fridge). Parking on site. Very safe town even at night, Load shedding was not an issue while we were there (lights remained on). Breakfast was exceptional and by far the best we had on our trip with lots of home made options. Dinner was also very good. Easy walk to the main street (5 min).

Love this place. So much to do if you like outdoorsy stuff. I went river tubing which was an absolutely magical experience. I wish I had had the time to bungee jump, go on the sky walk, get in a hike and indulge in a host of. other activities available at Stormsrivier.

One should spend a few days in this village. Everything is an adventure. Variety at an affordable price. All the town folk were polite and courteous.. Canopy Tours magnificent. Marilyn's Diner exceptional. Brewery wow! Still several walks i want to do and numerous adventures

The restaurants, there are a lot of them, offer food catering to every taste! It's very peaceful, quiet and refreshing everything I needed to recoup and begin my year😊, but then I noticed that they lacked reliable medical assistance as my son for hurt and we couldn't find any assistance.

It’s perfect to do some activities from here. We did horse riding and several hikes. The owner is very helpful as well, gave us tips and updated us about the load shedding times. The cottage was clean and spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. The only thing is that we couldn’t get the WiFi signal to work, but we also didn’t really need it! Also a nice porch to sit outside and a private braai in front of your own cottage!EviNetherlands
