This was the 3rd time we stayed at this hotel. Still a nice place but it needs a face lift. The property needs a good renovation

I was advised by Paul Goddard that breakfast was between 07h00 and 09h00.
We arranged to come at 07h00 as I was playing golf at 08h30.
Paul got everything confused and when Lynne was heard to complain in the kitchen at 07h10 he challenged me.
Rather confusing as I was paying for the breakfast that was offered.
Unfortunately what was offered to my wife was not what she ordered. The next day we were not asked what we wanted and received scrambled eggs and bacon. I left on the third day without breakfast and instead enjoyed one at a facility in Robertson.

It is a nice and cozy unit with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and Cinette had extra sheets in the drawer if needed. There was also some rusks and milk in the fridge.
There is a table next to the basin to place your vanity case which is very convenient.
The unit is very safe, as it is in an estate just outside town.

The house is beautiful! We enjoyed the big spacious rooms and the pool saved us from the extreme heat in Robertson! The host was wonderful, she was easy to reach and sent us many tips and suggestions for our time there! Absolutely wonderful place to rent for a bigger family or a group of friends! Definitely recommended!

Such a lovely friendly town. I remember when we were trapped there in September 2023 with the flooding. Everyone opened their homes, restaurants, churches etc for people to stay over. Amazing Town. I love it there.

Quaint little town in the heart of the Boland ine district.
Quaint little town in the heart of the Boland ine district. b
Be prepared to do lots of wine tasting ie Van Loveren, Bon Courage and Four Cousins, to name but a very few. Robertson Wine on the River is a must visit. Most wine estates in one sport alongside the Breede River. You cannot get a better venue for wine tasting. Even boat trips on the river that include wine tasing. You have to visit Roberts at least once in your lfetime. I promise you will go back for more....wine !!!! Also one of the biggest self made mazes and one of the largest and most beautiful succulant gardens in the Southern Hemispere. Both are at a place called Soekershof just outside Robertson on the road to Ashton

Robertson is a beautiful, clean and well managed little town in the wine region of the Western Cape. There are a lot of famous and not so famous wine farms in the region who offer wine tastings. Most have restaurants or offer something to eat.

I really only visited Roberstson to attend a function at De Beuld (magnificent location and restaurant that is a definite must visit!) I was enchanted with the Roberstson countryside and would recommend that you book accommodation on the outskirts of town in the farming and wine producing areas, as opposed to in the town center. It truly is beautiful.

I did not Enjoy my stay at Cedar Lodge.
I did not Enjoy my stay at Cedar Lodge.
Garden was dirty and definitely not as shown in the photos.
Electronic Gate not working, Shower Head not 100%, Smell in the room and Overall not a Nice Experience.
Regrettably we unfortunately travelled during extreme weather conditions which resulted in excessive flooding of roads in the Western Cape. This meant that we were not able to reach Robertson and had to cancel our accommodation at Paul Kruger. This was unfortunate as the accommodation perfectly suited our needs. The positive is that the establishment showed its compassionate nature and refunded us for the accommodation we had previously paid for an were unable to use.
Very nice facility that is decorated stylishly while honoring its past. The location is ideal for exploring the Robertson wine route and close to restaurants. The house is 'guarded' by Fred, the local resident Alpaca, that can be found near the front door. The owner is very responsive and helpful and a great place to stay

The cottage is nestled in the most scenic part of the farm with amazing mountain and vineyard views. It’s super comfortable with excellent layout and rhe barbecue facilities are the best we have ever experienced. Our stay was most memorable and we will definitely book in again in the near future.
Each room is VERY well catered for… small kettle, toaster and basic cutlery. Basic appliances and even electric blankets on the bed!
Very friendly and welcoming host, Rina.
Makes you feel very welcome.
Lovely stay. Will definitely be back when staying in Robertson.
Thank you.
Thank you Hilde & Luc. Our overnight stay was absolutely fabulous. You go that extra mile and beyond with such attention to the little details to make a stay amazing. Highly recommended if you staying in Robertson. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.
This is an excellent location to get away from the hustle and bustle of city live. Robertson is just around the corner for you to explore a lot of wine farms and do some sight seeing. I can really recommend this stay. Winter or summer it caters for all needs.
Amazing location and super friendly hosts Tertia and Jacques. Cottage has everything you need and so much more just move in and relax, go for long walks or mountain biking…and enjoy all the best the Robertson wine valley has to offer- can’t wait to return!
Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. The guest house is also a short drive from restaurants and wine farms - so it’s a perfect place to stay if you’d like to do some wine tasting around Robertson!
The unit and location were exactly what we were looking for. Close to Robertson and surrounds but far enough away to have no crowds. Friendly people and support available as required.
The Robertson Small hotel is beautiful, the gardens, the rooms, the food, the staff, lots of attention to detail. We had an fantastic time as a family there for Chrismas
Every part of this stay was exceptional. We fell in love with the farm, the view, the surroundings, and with Robertson. We are definitely coming back very soon!
