The facility is on the Orange River & it is very pleasant to sit on the deck next to the river, however there are not enough umbrellas & tables to protect you from the midday heat. it was a nice place for our two night stay over (you can stay longer) the facilities were exceptionally clean (we stayed in tented accommodation with shared ablution and braai) always had hot water for shower nice restaurant (we had drinks only) but friends had food that looked very nice and their comments were that it was great very relaxing environment (good for the soul) pools available (we did not use as it was cold) the only down was the complete darkness during loadshedding they told us to bring lights but solar lights on poles outside would help to light the darkness on the way to the ablution and to assist at the braai areaAMANDA - 10Scored 10

The chalet was ok but after traveling for long hours the one thing looking forward to is the food. Food was reallly poor, ordered deep fried hake which was tasteless and not deep fried. The calamari was obviously bought at Supermarket. Did not eat it at all. The tartare sauce was sour. My friends chicken livers were sour.AnsoSouth Africa
