We loved that there was ingredients for breakfast provided. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and there were so many supplies and the attention to detail was fabulous!
Cheryl and Alan are wonderful hosts. Tea and coffee on arrival. Quick run down of local attractions. Cheryl booked supper for us. Very comfortable room - everything that we needed was available and in good working order.

The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to be as close to the sea as possible. The Lighthouse was also a walk away and it was so easy going up the 71 steps to the top to enjoy the beautiful view.
It was just unfortunate that we had bad weather and was not able to do all the things we planned to do. Theres a Parkrun every Saturday.

Beautiful little town, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy but we still walked around and visited the Southern most tip of Africa. I see there is many tidal pools. Lovely restaurants with good food. The city was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. Good shop and even a pick N pay liquor store. We will be back in summer

We went primarily to meet a friend.
We went primarily to meet a friend. Apart from being the most southerly point in Africa, it doesn’t have much to recommend it compared to many other places. There are nice beaches and rocky shores and a small harbour, but many of those elsewhere. The lighthouse is worth a visit - but major construction taking place when we were there so no car park etc.. There are quite a few dirt roads in the area which, apart from offering a rough ride, make the car very dirty. The main access road is fine however.

Our trip was fantastic.
Our trip was fantastic. The welcome were received was very warm and the accommodation spacious and with a great outlook. Throughout our stay we felt very comfortable and our hosts gave us some great information about both dining and visiting.
The Ocean House is run by a lovely warm couple who treat all their guests like family. The location of the guest house and the view from the balcony are incredible. The furniture and decorations are tasteful and chic. The bed is so comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing. There is a wonderful lounge upstairs to read and work out of. I hope I get another chance to visit!
Our stay at Agulhas Ocean House was a real treat. Our room was amazing, with double aspect views and a superb bathroom. Our hosts, Sheryl and Alan, were extremely attentive, kind and keen to make our stay memorable. Which they certainly did. I cannot recommend Agulhas Ocean House highly enough; we are sorry we only booked to stay one night!
We stayed at The Agulhas Country Lodge four years ago, and knew that we would come back some day. We were upgraded on arrival to the Honeymoon Suite, complete with whirlpool. We had the most amazing views from our balcony. The freshly cooked breakfast was incredible, as was the cold continental buffet. Overall a great place
The Gift is a very well-decorated garden house with many small loving details, very comfortable and a welcoming nice host. One of the best places we stayed in on Booking.com. Well-situated in Cap Agulhas less than a kilometer from the lighthouse and southern most point of Africa. I can only recommend this place.
No breakfast option available, location is good, but limited sea view, close to lighthouse and southern point.
Struisbaai are close for swimming & vibe at the harbor is lekker. Interesting area to explore like Arniston eating
at Willeens in Kassiesbaai. Walking trails next to the beach
Susie and her husband were the perfect hosts at Beachcombers. The apartment was spacious and had everything you could ask for. We wished we could have stayed longer. The beds were very comfortable and the extra touches that went into making our stay perfect were well appreciated!
South Point 59 is the place to visit in L'Agulhas if you need a break. Hilary is an exceptional hostess and the apartment was great. The furniture and decor created such a tranquil atmosphere. Really a home away from home. I will Definitely go there again in future.
Absolutely beautiful!!
Loved all the extra touches. Picnic basket and beach bag with towels made available for use in case it was needed. Bed was very comfy, had a great night's sleep..Awesome shower, lots of hot water.
I highly recommend the Lighthouse stay.
The location is central and has amazing views. The host is gracious and added many personalised touches to make us feel at home. Went the extra mile to provide welcoming treats, and amenities beyond the required for a self catering accommodation.
The view was terrific. Not particularly fancy but comfy and anything you could need was provided. The owners provided some great travel tips and we enjoyed a nice walk along the shore to the lighthouse.
Comfortable for an easy-going family. Beds were comfortable and clean. The location was excellent with both Struisbaai and Agulhas easy to reach. We loved having the washing machine available.
Very nice, comfortable, clean place, very close to Cape Agulhas (a unique and still often overlooked place). Spacious room, nice ocean view, good breakfast, nice and helpful staff.
The rooms and the setting are beautiful, just next to the lighthouse. The host was very welcoming, lots of lovely small touches like coffee, and a picnic basket. I loved it
Lovely and friendly host. Clean and comfortable, walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach, Lighthouse and southern most tip of Africa. Would definitely recommend
