We had the loveliest stay at Hiep and Tung’s homestay! It felt as if we were part of the family and had amazing meals together as well as went snorkeling in the morning. They helped us with taxi whenever we needed it and were so lovely people! Would definitely come back!

Monkeyland Cham island Homestay, hotel in Tân Hiệp

Situated within 200 metres of Bai Lang Beach and less than 1 km of Bai Ong Beach, Monkeyland Cham island Homestay features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tân Hiệp.

The room is very nice and clean, there’s a fan and air cond which is very good. Every room has its own bathroom where you can find everything you need: towels, flipflops, shower gel, toothpaste, air dryer. You can rent a motorbike (if you don’t drive you can have a ride with the owner, he’s very nice and we did an island tour with him!!!) and you can have breakfast at the property. The property is not in front of the sea but it’s very close by!!

Cham Island Smiles Homestay, hotel in Tân Hiệp

Island Smiles offer air conditioner accommodation, family home cooked restaurant by mama Kim owner. Homestay look over to mountain view and 2 minute to Bai Huong beach. Complimentary WiFi is provided....

By far the best homestay I’ve stayed at in my entire life. The amounts of love we got from mama kim kept away any trace of homesickness. This truly felt like my new home. She cooked way too much food for us, just like my own grandma. And the food was great. The greatest I’ve had in Vietnam. Everyone should go to Smile Island!

Nhi Lo Home Stay, hotel in Tân Hiệp

Offering a garden and garden view, Nhi Lo Home Stay is set in Tân Hiệp, 700 metres from Bai Bim Beach and 700 metres from Bai Huong Beach.

Mama Nhi and Papa Lo are the most beautiful people we have met on our travels. They were so friendly, caring and hard working. Papa Lo picked us up from the pier and also helped us back to the pier when it was time to leave and organised some fishing for my partner. Mama Nhi made breakfast, lunch and dinner for us each day the cooking was AMAZING, so good we didn’t want to eat any where else during our time on the island. It was a pleasure to stay here at their beautiful, peaceful home stay and we would recommend to everyone to go here. Thank you so much again Mama Nhi and Papa Lo ❤️

Homestay Vân Đức Cù Lao Chàm, hotel in Tân Hiệp

Set near Bai Lang Beach and Bai Ong Beach, Homestay Vân Đức Cù Lao Chàm is in Tân Hiệp and offers free private parking and a restaurant.

It's a lovely place near the port, at arrival they come to pick you up by motor bike. Location is near Ong beach, 5-10 minutes walk. For Xep and Stone beach it's better to rent a motor bike, they offer that service at homestay for 200k dong/day (with gas). They offer deliceous food, we ate breakfasts and one dinner (the fish we specially recommend). The room has fan and AC so no worries for heat.

Booked 5 nights to relax but reduced to 3 as very little to do and lacking facilities for lounging on beach. Beaches were a hot walk away, with steep climb. Some nice seafront cafes - local, not Western.

This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it. Only guesthouses and bikes. Great nature and diving. You can drive up to the lighthouse, but circular movements around the island are now impossible, in several places there are collapses of stones. Look for guesthouses with fresh good reviews, they may not have a sea view, but there will be clean comfortable rooms. Good diving spots! 1-2 days is enough for the trip

Perfect place for relaxing, sun bathing and enjoying more peaceful side of life on an island with no cars. Best beaches we've seen in Vietnam and no large hotel resorts. Locals very friendly, almost like living in one big family. Highly recommended.

    1. Pick a scorching sunny day for best snorkelling/diving experiences. The water on cloudy days will not be clear enough to see the corals while you might suffer from jelly fish. 2. If you like busy atmosphere with more options for food, stay in Lang Beach (the main beach) 3. Otherwise spend at least 1 night in Huong Beach for a stunning view of sunset and peaceful atmosphere. 4. Be cautious when using plastic. Plastic bags are banned on the island, but you can still spot plastics cups/straws/containers.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet,, lovely people, stunning sandy beaches, rocky reefs and corals. Especially liked the street food and markets, very interesting cham shrines and cultural values. Could have stayed much longer than two days..
