Location was perfect. Hotel was clean.
We reserved 2 rooms. One with 2 Queens and another King corner room. The room with 2 queens for our adult kids was great but our room wasn’t ready until after 330 and we were told the previous night was busy. That’s not our fault. We were really tired of waiting around. Then they switched our room to a different floor (805) and I’m not sure we received a corner room like we paid for but we were told our room wouldn’t be ready until after 4pm. So we finally checked in and then couldn’t open the room safe. It was locked closed. Not the best value.

The fact that i left my room and came back a few hours later and it was a huge puddle of water on the floor in the room. When we told the “night time manger” he said i can give you towels to clean it up. And that theres nothing they can do about it.he also stated that they knew the room was leak and failed to inform us before we even checked in. For that price of the room which was $421, definitely not worth it. Especially if yall know that the rooms leak. If my things would have gotten wet then what.? Im just saying yall need to get that fixed and i need some type of money back. No i will not be returning to this location at all very disappointed.

The Westmont is conveniently located.
The Westmont is conveniently located. Downtown is a 20-30 minute car ride and the restaurants in the immediate area are plentiful. The hotel is clean despite transitioning through renovations. I was not 100% satisfied with the wifi, lack of continental breakfast, and some of the other guests. I may book the Westmont again, but I will be looking for other options as well.

I like the fact that Ogden Street is the main street to get to various locations, a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops, some specialty shops and being able to get onto other highways to get to shopping malls and then back onto the interstate without going all over the place and heading home. The location is very nice and there is a little strip mall across the hotel that I stayed at that had places to eat and do some stuff.

Loved the room, very spacious _ walked into room and off to the right was a kitchen with lots of cabinets and straight ahead the living room. Off to the left was the toilet room and tub, separate room was sink with full length mirrors. Then another room for the bedroom with a door and another tv.

I would definitely recommend having lunch at the International Market - The Good Children - to be exact. Excellent. I recommend the seafood soup and crab rangoon.
Also recommend if staying at a hotel that offers the service...definitely ORDER INN. The pizza is amazing. All the food is worth the cost.
Traveling: set your GPS to avoid toll roads. Maybe even set to avoid highways and take the "long way" in order to really experience the area. Many of the houses around Westmont are just incredible. If going to Chicago, take at least 1/2 a day and drive down Lake Shore Drive and take a walk along Lake Michigan. You will be glad you did.
The room was overall clean, smelled clean, somebody didn't clean the grape Jam off of ghetto bed railing at the bottom, I do my normal check for critters like I do every hotel and there was grape jelly! Overall good price for the quality everything else was clean and comfy.
This was my first visit to the Chicago Inn in over 10 years. The room was perfectly acceptable. It was clean and all amenities typical with a hotel were present. Each time a staff member saw me, they were smiling and gave me a nod or a hello.
After reading reviews on this hotel I was skeptical. Although, we luckily got a room at the end of a hallway. Not noisy at all. The bed was perfect. Having a decent sized fridge was a bonus. The a/c works like a charm.
Breakfast was correct considering that some hotels suspended it because of Covid. Cheese, jam, pancakes, muffin and some hot items that we didn’t try…
