I was in town for a conference at the convention center. Did not do any tourist things while there. Downtown is clean and very mellow. The hotel is a nice walk away. Helpful in a situation where the day involves lots of sitting in meetings.

I liked the ease of getting to and from the hotel. There is a kitchenette with two burner stove top, microwave, coffee maker, and full size refrigerator. However, if you want to use the stove top, you need to bring your own pans. There are some kitchen amenities available for sale in the lobby, but no pans. I will plan to stay here again in the future, but will bring my tea kettle with me and remember to order breakfast.

Each of the three bedrooms could accommodate a couple adequately. There was also a nice alcove bed for an additional person. It was an easy walk to some of the downtown, but felt very much like a residential area--in the next block from downtown Vancouver. My room was large with a comfortable bed and Sallie arranged it so I had sole use of the bathroom across the hall (2 of the 4 rooms have ensuite). The B&B is located near (10 min walk) Vancouver's pretty waterfront (lots of restaurants and bars) and a 20-30 minute drive to Portland.
