This place is just amazing, not only the house but overall place. The staff is friendly, helpful, and communicative. This is a ranch with animals that kids (and adults) can visit and pet. Owners were so kind that they introduced us to baby goats, explained how to behave around them, and let us go into the fenced area. At the reception area, they have an engaging souvenir store and breakfast area where everyone can find something for themself (super happy for gluten-free options). Everywhere can be sensed amazing feeling for interior and landscape design - everything is done with perfection and attention to detail. We all loved the pool area - they have several saunas, a unique outdoor pool with (heated/cooled) resting pavilions, a jacuzzi, a grill with tables, and a fire pit area. It was made very thoughtful.
I wish we could have stayed longer.

The breakfast was very basic but this was expected for Days Inn. Overall the place was OK. Price was very high for a Days Inn. Ice Machine was barely working. Place is close to Capitol Reef National Park.

The Sky View Hotel was beautiful and artistically designed.
The Sky View Hotel was beautiful and artistically designed. The art instellation was so cool. They were very welcoming. Really enjoyed all the extra details they put into making our stay wonderful. They had snacks ready, large water bottles we could use for hiking, delicious fresh ground local coffee and a healthy breakfast from a local vendor. The room was perfect for viewing the stars. We also went up to the roof deck for night viewing. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. This is a truely wonderful place. Capitol Reef is a splendid National Park. Not to be missed.

Nice little town in a spectacular location near fabulous Capital Reef National Park. Liked the well stocked Chuck Wagon General Store with attached laundromat and helpful, friendly owner. Especially liked the nearby Color Country Animal Welfare Center which is a no-kill shelter with a wonderful staff, which also provides affordable boarding for people traveling with dogs so they can hike in the park which doesn't allow dogs on most trails. Would stay in the area again.

Here you get all the beauty of Sedona, while leaving the crowds behind. This part of the world is easily some of the most beautiful. Torrey is right at the base of Boulder Mountain which offers all the activities typical to forested areas, while Capitol Reef National Park offers stunning desert rock formations. Enjoy one of America's great roads on Utah State Route 12 -- worth driving the whole thing.

Torrey is a small town in central Utah.
Torrey is a small town in central Utah. It is 10 miles west of Capitol Reef National Park. There are not many facilities to accommodate the ever growing number of visitors. Unfortunately, prices for lodging, food, camping and services keep rising at a faster rate than inflation. The attraction is the nation park and BLM recreation lands, such as Grand Staircase- Escalante National Monument, and the scenery. The restaurants, and now food trucks, charge above average prices for average food. The best value in town is the Chuckwagon Deli and Grocery Store.
We stayed in the Chamisa room on 3rd floor. It was huge and also very pretty and cosy!
The guest house itself was absolutely beautiful, super clean and certainly a place to spend at least a few nights!! Breakfast was the best on our whole trip through Utah, not only freshly cooked eggs/french toast and with a variety of cereal, bread, fruits, juices but also finally a place that did not use plastic plates/cutlery/cups! We highly recommend to stay there if you're looking for a place anywhere near Capitol Reef.
Very cute boutique hotel. Perfect location, great amenities, the hot tub was the perfect ending to a long but fun day. All the extra little touches from the smores & campfire, treats in the room, wonderful coffee, and hospitality... this is the place to stay when visiting Capitol Reef/Torrey, UT. Loved the upper deck to check out the dark sky. The breakfast box we purchased from Hunt and Gather was soooo tasty! Wish the still would have been open for the season
Room was amazing. We had the spa suite because we had a total of 5 people on our trip. Room was so nice. Very clean and comfortable. The spa bathroom was amazing and my son loved taking a bath in the spa bathtub. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The pool and hot tub were perfect. Amazing views from the pool. So relaxing after an adventurous day. Perfect location near Capitol Reef. Definitely our go to hotel when visiting Capitol Reef.
Sandy on check in was friendly and told me about dining options in January which were limited in Torrey. She explained about the seasonality in Torrey and I found a good place for dinner. Breakfast was better than I expected considering the remote location and being off season, it was a cheap room rate, all together good value.
The Skyview Hotel in Torrey is a gem! The artistic style augments the beautiful setting without being overdone or distracting. The rooms are a vibe, very comfortable with gorgeous private views and private patio and hot tub. And the service and details (Yeti water bottles in the fridge!) are top notch! Definitely recommend!
It was a small hotel. Nice country views. Great staff very friendly. I dealt with Michelle on the phone and she was great and very accommodating. I had made a mistake on dates she called me and helped me out. Steven was our host for the night and he also was great. Guided us to some good BBQ very near the hotel.
Close to the National Park. Room was very clean and decor was nice. Bed was very comfortable. The view out of our window was beautiful. Staff very courteous. Breakfast in hotel restaurant was very good.
Great hot breakfast buffet and dinner at adjacent steakhouse. Stayed in Conestoga Wagon. Kids loved it. King bed very comfortable. Bathroom clean and nearby and NOT shared. Close to Capitol Reef Park.
Great location to CRNP. COMFORTABLE. had info about food and amenities nearby. Very helpful in adjusting our lodging schedule. I would stay there again for a longer time.
The breakfast was fine, and typical of a hotel of this sort. While there is not much in Torrey, we found a great food truck and convenience store within a mile of the hotel.
Great hotel next to Capitol Reef National Park. All facilities were very good, including the pool and jacuzzi and restaurant. Hotel personnel were also very friendly.
the room was large, with a coffee machine, kettle and plenty of tea bags, which is appreciated when you don't drink coffee
good location near Capitol Reef
Great location near Capital Reef National Park. The rooms were clean and comfortable though dated. The restaurant was the best meal and service of our trip!
Great location with nice view from Restaurant and chair outside room, Pet friendly, Good Restaurant, Helpful staff let us our freeze our cooler ice packs
The room on the lower floor was very accommodating to my needs. The parking had a concrete apron near the rooms which made parking a motorcycle stable.
