Tru is apparently Hilton's riff on Silicon Valley culture: lots of bright contrasting colors in simple shapes and patterns, casual communication, "fun" facilities like a pool table, even some newfangled electronic gimmicks like remotely-operated blinds. You know in your head that the vibe is entirely artificial, and yet it kind of works anyway; instead of the somber, depressing experience I normally associate with hotels, I found it relaxed and cheery. Girl at the front desk was very friendly, breakfast was decent (they had actual protein), and rooms were reasonably clean.

This Cartersville hotel is located off Interstate 75 at Exit 290 and is a 15 minute drive to the Tellus Science Museum. An outdoor pool, hot breakfast, and free Wi-Fi are provided.
