Our host Paulette was exceptional. She provided both the door codes and the WIFI and detailed directions via text message and include her contact information. She also met us when we arrived, The "Bunk House" was great. She thought of everything, including microwave popcorn.

The location was very convenient for attending the soccer tournament.
A very comfortable place to unwind. On a horse ranch with fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. The owner thought of every thing and is on an adjoining property and encouraged us to contact them for any issue. There were none. Would absolutely go back and stay much longer.

Riverton and the surrounding countryside is absolutely beautiful! Fresh snow was on the mountains and the aspens were golden! Ocean Lake was peaceful and so pretty. Riverton has some rustic buildings and shops that are intriguing.

Riverton is a fantastic little secret in Wyoming!
Riverton is a fantastic little secret in Wyoming! Driving through the Wind River Canyon is a gorgeous site. The trip across the Wind River Reservation has some of the most stunning scenery. The colors that paint the hills are beautiful. The trip to the Tetons and Jackson, WY are an easy drive. Riverton provides lodging with reasonable prices.

Perhaps if you are "outdoorsy" it is a good place.
Perhaps if you are "outdoorsy" it is a good place. We just had an overnight stop planned and that was enough, Museum is not worth the effort even if it was free - and it was the highest priced local museum on the whole trip. Skip it and go to the one in Thermopolis which is wonderful, extensive and cheaper!!!

Got in there late/dark from Idaho Falls, ID after a very stressful day and long drive. We rested up for the long ride home, left early before the breakfast in the morning. The room was so nice, comfy beds and pillows.

We were able to visit with a good friend who lives in Riverton . Very nice area. The Native America’s should be required to cleanup their properties. That is a big distraction for Riverton & surrounding areas.
We really appreciated the helpfulness of the desk attendant who helped resolve an issue with our reservation...happily we were able to get a first floor room as requested. The room was large and looked out onto a garden area. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant....service was good. Our meals were not very creative, but were good value for the money (the hotel gives a 10% discount.
Hampton Inns are my favorite hotel chain. Lively and excellent mannered staffs, nice breakfast and very convenient room. This hotel is one of the best among the Hampton Inns I've ever stayed. Semi-all inclusive hotel offering free dinner with free wine and beer? And that's a Hampton Inn? This is a must-stay hotel.
This was about the only reasonably priced hotel I could find in this area. This property is older (we got an actual room key!) but pleasant. Not fancy (no pool, restaurants or workout rooms) but very clean and comfy enough for a one night stay. The owners were very nice and quick to answer all our questions.
The room was QUIET! The refrigerator was quiet, the door didn't allow light in, bathroom was spotless. The staff was friendly, they had a restaurant (the food and service was top notch!)and lounge on site. Best stay, most affordable of our whole trip.
Breakfast was basic serve yourself fare but nice to have something available and the hot coffee was nice too. The people running the hotel were very nice.
