Old Alcohol Plant, hotel in Port Townsend

Old Alcohol Plant has a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Port Hadlock. This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar.

The setting is pretty good, looking over a small marina and inlet. The catering was good in the evening, we skipped breakfast as we preferred lighter options than offered. The room was clean at eye level, but cobwebs hung from the ceilings. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic; Lots of homegrown produce and self-sufficiency in evidence.

Anchorage Inn B&B, hotel in Port Townsend

Located in Coupeville, the Anchorage Inn B&B features a complimentary homemade daily breakfast and complimentary WiFi access. A wrap-around patio and a shared lounge area are available here.

It's a business ran with so much passion and a thought about the clients. Great care taken of everything: starting with the access to the little things that travelers very often forget in hurry, leaving their homes (like toothpaste, tooth brushes etc.), continuing with the readiness of the owners to help you with your requests, and finishing with am option to choose your time for breakfast, which is not only delicious but so finely served. Very much impressed! We were together with my partner who used to travel for business a lot and stayed in all type of accommodations. I booked this place as a surprise. He said it felt like home staying there.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Port Townsend.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Port Townsend. The people were very friendly. Lots of conveniences nearby. There was even a farmer's market on Saturday. Port Townsend just oozes personality. I'd actually contemplate moving there, if I could.

Christmas visit so nothing was open. Bedroom and hotel were awful. The room was tiny and bed covers dirty We spent $240 for 2 nights in a tiny room and squished in parking place. We will visit a different town next Christmas. Tell the Tides hotel we hope their Front desk person is not sick anymore!!He called us to tell us he was going home at 345pm(check in was at 4pm)since was sick. What a mess

Totally authentic, not touristy, historical town!

Totally authentic, not touristy, historical town! The people and shops are so lovely. The views are beautiful. A genuine coastal town with friendly, kind town folks. The food was amazing. The people made you feel welcome. The downtown area had so many cool businesses and places to eat. Easily navigated by car or by foot from your hotel. The original brick buildings were works of art as was the city’s integration of its history and pride. Ferry is right there to take to one of the many islands. We stayed Labor Day weekend wishing we had booked linger. We were totally surprised it wasn’t overcrowded or overpriced at all for a holiday. Stayed at the Manresa Castle Hotel which was a treat in old architecture part of t he history of the city. Loved our stay and loved this city!!!!!!!!! Great place to get away from the super busy of your life and just be!

Port Townsend is a wonderful picturesque town and if you like wooden boats, it is high heaven. The town has poor accessibility overall, and the Wooden Boat Festival has very little accommodations for mobility challenged people. The food is excellent, and the scenery is stupendous. We ate at the Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant which is owned by friends. Next time I go to the Wooden Boat Festival, I will sail there and stay on my boat rather than try to stay at a hotel. If you can't walk long distances, it is a real problem.

Port Townsend is a lovely historic town right on the water!

Port Townsend is a lovely historic town right on the water! You can't beat the views and luckily you don't have to miss out. The town has several cut outs between buildings that allow you access to the water. Plus, the town and beaches are very pet friendly! If you love history, maritime history, scenic water views with sailboats off in the distance, yummy food and unique shopping, you'll LOVE spending time in Port Townsend.

I stayed at the Palace Hotel years ago, and just brought my grandson for a Port Townsend visit, so of course I stayed here again. Still good. I’d stay again next time I visit Port Townsend too. I like the antique decor, how they capitalized on the bawdy history of the place, and the location right smack in the middle of the waterfront. There are nice common areas as well. This is a great place for those who aren’t fond of chain mega-hotels. It fits right in with the Port Townsend vibe.

It's not a chain modern hotel. It's downtown PT and updated from the 1890 origins, but still vintage. The bathroom was clean and contemporary. The furnishings were older and completely appropriate. The location downtown was most important. PT's mild climate was instrumental in not needing summertime AC. Mary at the front desk was helpful, charming, and efficient.

The location was perfect. It is within walking distance of downtown Port Townsend. There was a view of an amazing Victorian home across the street. You can also see the water and the mountains. The bed was super comfortable. The heat worked well. I love the chair for reading. The decor was colorful. The host was very helpful when we needed help with the TV.

A beautiful heritage home with views of the bay, surrounded by a quaint neighborhood where deer roam free. The gardens are tended to perfection. We enjoyed the farmers market and walking only a few blocks to Port Townsend for a movie and dinner. It was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

Location is great! Breakfast was a little light and actually too late for me, had to get going early. The hotel is undergoing some renovation I understand. It could use new carpets, etc. but very comfortable place and good value for money. I'd stay again.

The house is very nice and pet friendly, just like being at home for my small dog. The neighborhood is quiet, the backyard is spacious and borders the forest, very nice and scenic. Relatively easy to access main roads to exploring the area.

Whatever the site lacked in terms of friendliness of desk staff, awkward layout of room, was more than made up for by location and view. We had a delightful time in Port Townsend and would consider this place for a night's stay again.
