The room suites with the bedroom separately from the living space was exceptional! I loved this separation of the two; you can get ready in your room and still have privacy from the living room. Bonus was every room had a full fridge and freezer, hotplate stove, dish washer.. I will ONLY book moving forward with Homewood Suites! The best hotel I've ever stayed in!

Front desk woman was doing laundry. (About 9:30pm).
Front desk woman was doing laundry. (About 9:30pm). I didn't know she was working both jobs at this time. A note at the desk said helping customer, be right back, so I waited. She saw me but continued laundry tasks for many minutes before a customer came by and asked her for change, she left laundry, crossed the hall to the front desk, got him change, I asked if front desk person would be back. I need to check in. She td me it was her, then checked me in. She saw me at least 7 minutes before but never came to check me in!!! This is totally unacceptable!

The bed was comfortable. We did not feel safe there.
The bed was comfortable. We did not feel safe there. People were hanging out in the back parking lot and sitting on the floor in the hallway near the room we stayed in. The outside door did not always shut tight and was unlocked during the day. Kids pulled the fire alarm. We were to stay 3 nites. We left after the first day. It was not what I expected from what Bookings showed. I won’t go through any company again

We planned to explore Salem and visit as many of the museums...
We planned to explore Salem and visit as many of the museums as possible in 4 days. Staying in Peabody allowed us extremely quick access into Salem, the hotel price was much cheaper than any other accommodation in Salem itself. The hotel was in a good location directly off the highway allowing quick access to multiple routes to take. The parking lot was fairly large, it wrapped around the entire hotel allowing at least anywhere between 60-100 parking spots. The pool was in a good location, however it was limited to 10 people and you were limited to 1 hour of swim time. Our room came supplied with enough storage for our clothing and luggage bags. Our shower was handicapped accessible, however we noticed a lot of the water would drain out onto the bathroom floor. The bathroom was ready for use as soon as we got there. Equipped with towels, a hair dryer, travel size lotion, shampoo, & soap. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered any questions we had, took care of our room while we were away, and didn’t bother us at all during our stay. Definitely wish we had more time to spend in Massachusetts.

We stayed in Peabody but our main reason for going was Salem...
We stayed in Peabody but our main reason for going was Salem. We did find very good food in Peabody though. Lots and lots of stores, very populated and you can find anything you need close by. Driving here was a nightmare for us; we are not used to there being no lines on the roads in some parts, no signs for merging lanes and every road being as big/fast as a highway. Very scenic roads though so as the passenger, it was nice haha.
The staff was friendly. The buffet for breakfast was really good, and the attendees were so personable. The facility was clean. The room was nice and spacious. This location was near Salem and other areas we were exploring. It also has a few restaurants near it. The pizza place wasn't so good, but there was a Wendy's and Sonic within walking distance. I'm picky about beds, and they had hard beds for me, but that is more of a preference.
We ended up with a handicap room because my husband had hurt his knee prior to our vacation. Sammy who checked us in was very accommodating. The room was close to the entrance and the pool. We were traveling with my sons 17 and 13. We haven’t stayed I a hotel with them in almost 4 years so we needed a roll in bed because the pullout was too small. Sammy was right on it and brought us extra pillows and blankets. He was so helpful!!
The location was very good. The staff were mostly friendly apart from one Women on reception when we arrived. There was a Fridge, Microwave and Ice bucket in the room. The room had plenty of space including a sofa, plenty of space for clothes, a bath as well as a shower.
There was free Tea/coffee 24hours . in the reception area. There was a gym and a pool.
very clean, updated space, good atmosphere, very kind and accommodating staff... good food.
We went during Salem's Haunted happenings so the prices were inflated, but that was the norm for every hotel in the area because of the mass flux of tourists.
Was very pleases with our stay and would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and professional, anything you needed they provided. The included breakfast was just right. I would certainly recommend and consider staying again when I am in the area next.
The historic building is completely renovated with taste and style. As lovely as it is, the staff is the real prize. So warm and accommodating with endless patience. I will gladly return to The Bell Inn whenever in the area.
Nice hotel that was surprisingly comfortable and clean considering its price. Had no issues and breakfast was good. Good place to explore Salem and surrounding areas plus easy drive back to Boston airport.
it was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been to, I didn’t even want to shower there. mold in the shower, nasty people, tried to give us a dirty room. it was the worst experience
Breakfast was very good. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay at the Hampton Inn Boston/Peabody again when in the Boston area.
The room was comfortable and clean but was smells funky like cigarettes, plus it's look like is a shelter and hotel at the same time.... sorry if I'm wrong
