I liked the staff, who were perfectly friendly and professional. The room was clean and decently sized. The beds and pillows were adequate and fairly average for hotel bedding. Free breakfast was decent and the breakfast area was cozy and very homey.

My room was clean. The hotel quiet. Staff was wonderful!
Only stayed one night on my way to Duluth. The fact that Hudson's grill just across the parking lot with live music, 3$ margaritas, excellent food at a reasonable price. I used GPS to get there, so it was pretty easy to find.

Also try Nang's Rice Paddy. Take out and cash only. Cheese cheese wontons crisp, freshy made. Orange chicken and moo goo gia pan (sp?) also great.

We were only there 2 nights this time, but were able to visit some of our favorite places. Vierling & Lagniappe for dinner, Black Rocks & Ore Dock breweries for awesome brews & live music, hike to Top of the World with friends, shopping at Getz's. So many things to do, so little time!

The staff at the Ramada of Marquette were awesome.
The staff at the Ramada of Marquette were awesome. The rooms were clean. The facilities were in great working order. The price of a room is very competitive if not better than the surrounding hotels/inns. Best part, the Ramada sits right in the middle of downtown Marquette. You're in walking distance to everything. I will be staying there again next year October 2024.

I enjoy Marquette. It has much to offer a traveler.

My issue was the cost of my room vs the reason for my trip. When you travel just to check someone’s health paying $460. 00 for two nights for a senior is a bit excessive.

Third Street Bagel was amazing!
Third Street Bagel was amazing! Also, Jilbert's Ice Cream is a must-have! Would loved to have spent some time along the lake or wandering the parks, but Marquette was just a one-night stop-over on the way to our final destination.
Our reservation for two lake view corner rooms through Booking.com turned into a disappointment upon arrival. Instead of the promised rooms, we got standard ones with inadequate views. Both the hotel and Booking.com blamed each other, leaving us frustrated. The alternative rooms offered didn't match what was advertised. This lack of accountability overshadowed the courteous staff and adequate amenities. We urge both the hotel and Booking.com to rectify this issue for future guests' sake.
The rooms have sliding glass doors, chairs in front of each room for outdoor sitting, a large area with tables and grill and grass available for guests. The gal who checked us in was very friendly and helpful with maps and advice about Marquette. The rooms are remodeled and very cute, with still a bit of old style flavor, yet very clean. They were pet friendly and only charged $10 for both of our small dogs.
The staff was exceptional. They were all so friendly and
helpful. I asked someone at the front desk about the best
place to get Marquette souvenirs, and a girl in the back
heard my question and came out to give me info.
Also, breakfast was great. The best hotel breakfast I’ve
had in years, even before Covid.
The hotel staff is going above and beyond to meet customer expectations. I love how clean, modern, and spacious the hotel is, especially liked the size of the pool.
I would definitely stay there again in the future, just avoid the restaurant.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location was perfect for my needs and hotel generally was very clean and efficient. Great value relative to other hotels in the area. Would stay again if ever back in town.
Staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful! Rooms were small but nice. Beds comfortable, at least to us! Price was good compared to the other chain hotels. Would highly recommend.
Bed was very comfortable. Hotel desk employee gave us a wonderful recommendation for a Mexican restaurant. Room was spacious and we liked the color scheme.
