Lopez Island Hunter Bay Waterfront Home, hotel in Lopez

Lopez Island Hunter Bay Waterfront Home offers accommodations in Lopez. Victoria is 24 miles from the property. The accommodation features a TV.

The location was awesome. Our family has stayed at this house twice, and it is perfect. Our son brings his boat, and having the pier adjacent, is awesome. He does anchor it during the night, since there is no moorage at night. Being right on the water is amazing, and the house is big, and we always bring our 2 grand sons, and they are very entertained. We are always glad to play monopoly, which is always there.

Lopez is a beautiful, quiet island.

Lopez is a beautiful, quiet island. There are several large public parks and beaches with incredible views of the other islands. Biking and water sports are popular. A lovely small village with nice shops and restaurants: just enough, not too many. Friendly locals, beautiful farms.

This was a bucket list trip for me to rent a bicycle and ride around the island (though only 2 hours),. My adult daughter was with me, an added treat. The island is filled with wild rasberry and blueberry bushes available to pick and eat, along with ripe fruit from apple and pear trees. ( I love fruit). A short hike to a beach area with boats in which the owners rowed their dingeys (?) to with their dogs was fun to watch. This trip will fill me with beautiful memories for years to come.

Many of the activities and restaurants were not open due to the late season travel but it was quiet, relaxing, and not hectic or crowded anywhere we stopped. A great spot was the iceberg point, also shark reef point sanctuary - both were peaceful yet beautiful views of the water and other islands.

it's a small island, with nice biking, lovely rural scenery, good water access and places to stop for picnics. people are very friendly. liked it much more than San Juan Island. we happened upon a local foodie event called Vita's - wood-fired pizza or other deli options, served in a garden, with local musicians playing. Really fun.
