Everything-amazing boutique hotel with cool music vibe and incredible art in a fantastic location (walkable to sunset strip and Melrose/Santa Monica Blvd with great restaurants and shops each with a unique feel), beautiful rooms with sitting areas, an gorgeous rooftop pool and tennis court with the best views of LA I have ever seen (and I grew up in LA) and friendly, helpful staff. And if that's not enough there's a complementary wine hour we enjoyed on the gorgeous rooftop pool with their amazing views. Our family trip was for universal studios. And this hotel is perfect, morning drive was 12-15 minutes depending on traffic but the drive back in the evening was about 5-8 minutes. Staff were all great. Breakfast was delicious. When we go back to universal we are definitely booking our stay here again.
