Jacksonville was okay and what I expected. We (the group of about 1000) travel there at least once a year for a BB tourney. We stay in different places and so we can share with each other where to stay next time.
I did not recommend this place as I did not feel welcomed or safe as there was no staff to be found and the police were on site at least once during my short stay.
I was sent a text message with instructions on getting into my room after hours yet my text message about the noise was not responded to.
If you want a kitchen in your room I guess its all right but for the 20 savings I could have has a fitness center, pool and free breakfast?

If you can stay somewhere else, please do so.
If you can stay somewhere else, please do so. Housekeepers enter your room without permission and try to find anything to keep the "un-advertised" "incidental deposit" fee. Will not be returning. There was no breakfast as advertised, there were insects on the outside in the halls as well as inside my room. The morning desk clerk is very rude and unprofessional. A housekeeper entered my room even though I had my DND sign on my door. A housekeeper also knocked on my door @ 10:20 AM. I don't know about anyone else, but DND means just that, DO NOT DISTURB. I didn't ask for a wake up call or reminder 9f checkout. Will no be returning!

The room was NOT good.
The room was NOT good. We ordered a handicap room when we booked and it was confirmed. They had none. No bars in the tub or shower. We bought a rubber mat for the shower so we would not slip. The breakfast was a joke on everyone. No housekeeping at all for the three days we were there. We were on the first floor it sounded like workout room above us. We called the front desk when we were trying to sleep. It stopped. the next night it started again.

Enjoyed visiting Jacksonville NC to visit our active duty...
Enjoyed visiting Jacksonville NC to visit our active duty Marine son and his family. The town has grown a lot since my husband was stationed there nearly 40 years ago! There appears to be just about anything you might need in Jacksonville! People are friendly, and the beach is close by. The base has also been developed and renovated!
The staff was extremely helpful and polite. From the minute we walked in until our checkout. The room was large and comfortable. Traveling to take my Marine to his reserve station and having another teenage boy with me, the room size mattered. The 3 of us were very comfortable and not crowded in the room. Full size refrigerator was a plus, hangers, iron, ironing board, laundry basket, kitchen sink, this place was great. If I'm ever in the area again it will be my go to place to stay.
The hotel is located in a convenient area. There are a lot of nearby restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly. The hotel offered great amenities such as a pool, elevator, complimentary breakfast, snacks for purchase, etc. There were a variety of breakfast items to choose from. Overall, we had a positive experience and will consider staying again if we visit Jacksonville, North Carolina again.
We enjoyed a very good breakfast in the Lime & Lemon restaurant adjacent to the hotel lobby. We chose the buffet and found the food to be well prepared and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Carman, the Breakfast Manager, and her assistant were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.
Hotel Reception and Housekeeping staff were also very helpful and friendly.
First room was room 224 and was absolutely filthy it smelled disgusting the bedsheets were filthy and they claimed that the room was clean Then they gave me room 201 and that smelled and the sheets were filthy with human hairs all over them so they gave me my money back and I went to a different hotel and had zero problem at that hotel not very happy
I made last minute reservation and drove 4hrs from Virginia. Pictures on websites is nothing in person. I paid $81 for the night and $150 deposit for what? This was very unsatisfing and disappointing. Paints coming off the walls. This reminds me of Motel 6..... Door edges were nasty. AC was the worse😡😡😡😡
The location isn't in the best part of town, it's very run down. Jacksonville isn't the nicest city anyway but I would recommend staying on the nicer end of it at a higher end hotel. The hotel was just okay, nice on appearance inside overall but I likely wouldn't stay again.
The Wi-Fi was down as usual. Stop employing racketeering criminals. Get the pull up and running or close it down. They only spruce up some of the rooms and then it’s like the left completely with a film on everything. Specially the floor.
Clerk behind the front desk was effervescence friendly knowledgeable always willing to help, whi h was great for me, I cannot say enough kind words about her. She alone would make me return to this hotel
I love the cleanliness of the property, great customer service. This is where I will stay whenever I visit Jacksonville. The workers were also friendly, rooms were stack very well.
I liked staying at this hotel. Staff were very courteous and accommodated my requests. I like the free continental breakfast and coffee available. The rooms were nice and clean.
