All shops are closed in Frostburg on Sunday and Monday which was surprising to me. Very limited food options in town. Streets were deserted, even Frostburg University. I didn't particularly feel safe as I took a late afternoon walk. After checking Frostburg city safety ratings I would not recommend traveling alone there. A very disappointing visit for me.

    Frostburg is a college town.

Frostburg is a college town. School was out during our trip, however we did take a drive around the campus. My husband worked for University Of Maryland for years so we know what college towns are like. Main street was full of places to eat & shops to visit. We actually drove into Grantsville Maryland, LaVale & Cumberland. Frostburg is a great middle ground to stay & be able to be in any of these beautiful towns in minutes.

Frostburg is nice. The people are nice.

Frostburg is nice. The people are nice. It’s a small town that’s slightly boring. Even thou it’s a college town. There’s is nothing to do. Literally, Walmart and dollar tree. There is a mall about 10 miles away that has like 5 stores. The good thing is that most of those stores had like 75% off. Otherwise. The excitement was checking into the hotel that didn’t have a pool 🤷🏽‍♀️

We had a fabulous stay in Frostburg while attending a music festival in Cumberland over the Memorial Day weekend 2019. What a beautiful place to come home to each evening of the festival. We live on the beach and those Mountain View’s were spectacular and such a contrast from our daily vistas at home. Simply beautiful and so relaxing. Thank you!

Very nice friendly staff. I ride m.c. cross country every year and generally just need a room to sleep and shower. I usually show up late so I'm just looking for a comfy bed... The room(that I had) was small, but like I said I just need a bed so it was perfect. I try and choose non chain hotels that are on a lower level with the door by the parking to make loading and unloading my motorcycle easy and so I can keep an eye on it.

The registration process and crew were very friendly and accomodating. They were helpful and answered all questions. The most memorable person was ROSIE the lady who kept the breakfast area clean and well maintained. She saw to it that everything was full and refilled what was needed. She was friendly and very visible. I felt like she was an old friend right from the beginning. She definitely was a TEN!

The location is great. We were riding our bikes on the GAP and this was a good place to stay riding from Frostburg to Cumberland and back. It’s also about 20 minute drive from Rocky Gap State Park. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. The whole room was very spacious to be precise. Everything seemed clean. The room has a microwave and a small fridge that does work.

Location was great as there aren't a ton of great places to stop across Pennsylvania in the mountains. As far as south goes, Frostburg is a little city and the price was excellent on the room. Charlie seemed great from the tiny interaction I had with him. Quite a lot of appliances + fridge as well which was nice.

We Were going on a day excursion on a private railroad. The motel was convenient and the best value in the area. The man running the motel was friendly, he knew the area to recommend restaurants etc, and he had a great sense of humor.
