The room was quiet and the HVAC system was also quiet. My biggest issue was that the bathroom had a horrible odor of sewer gas when I first went in the room. I ran the exhaust fan and kept the door closed all night that helped the situation.

The booking.com site stated that charges may apply for dogs. When I checked in... the front desk person stated that they wanted $200 for our dogs to spend the night. This is not a fee but more like robbery as it was too late to book another room. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again. The staff was apologetic and unhelpful. Please take Hampton Inn off your site. I like Booking.com, but Hampton Inn will never be again for me, and hopefully, anyone I share this story with.

Unfair question - literally driving from Houston area to Santa Fe, NM. Had to stop for only one night and wanted clean and safe with complimentary breakfast. Didn't do anything in Frot Stockton.

We liked the stay, everything was very good. Got there an hour and half before check in time, no problem the room was ready. Food was good and hot and fresh. Will stay there again when traveling that way. Desk staff were the best I have had in years.

Horrible hotel! Rude, not honest about facilities.
Horrible hotel! Rude, not honest about facilities. Supposed to have breakfast, (one of the reasons I chose my hotels). I was handed a granola bar in a paper bag when I asked about it. When I checked in, I was told the time for breakfast. Nothing in the breakfast room, no coffee, no juice no ANYTHING. Another person asked about breakfast while I waited to check out. As I was standing right there, he was told the time it was supposed to be open. I told him it would only be a granola bar, no coffee or anything. She admitted that was true. He was not happy either.

This was our second stay and it was every bit as good as our first. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The continental breakfast was one of the better ones we've eaten at. I would stay here any time we're in the area.
Really amazed that this type of facility was in Ft Stockton. Was just a great set up. Undergoing renovation, our room was new. And having a ground floor room with parking out the front door, and a sliding glass window into the atrium was so cool. We really enjoyed our stay. Hard to belive a pool, sauna, work out room, jacuzzi, running track, all inside a covered area. Not to mention that everywhere else we stayed that week did not have any breakfast due to COVID, but they did here! We were very impressed, and pet friendly also!
Great little gem in Fort Stockton! Skip the chain hotels and go for this one! Big spacious rooms, with comfortable beds and comfy pillows, extra towels in the bathroom. Indoor pool was warm and fun, although it got crowded in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, but the staff was overwhelmed at first due the large numbers of people traveling back from the eclipse, but recovered well!
The breakfast was very good, plenty of food and a good variety. The room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was very roomy. There was plenty of parking and the grounds were pleasant to view as we drove in. In fact we are staying at this hotel on our return trip to Houston.
Driving from Phoenix to Houston and planned our stop for the night in Ft. Stockton. Really nice, quiet hotel. Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable beds, modern decor, good breakfast. Highly recommend.
This is the 2nd time to stay. I felt it was cleaner than before. Everything was neat and clean. reasonabl place. Perfect location. I will stay this hotel next time again.
My brother lives in Mesa Arizona and I live in Beaumont Texas area. Fort Stockton is half way there. This hotel is by far the best place to stay within a 50 mile radius
Very good night of rest, despite large gathering.
Room and hotel were clean and comfortable.
Upscale environment, what I've come to expect from Marriott's brand.
