La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Radford, hotel in Dublin

Just 1 mile from Radford city centre, this hotel features an on-site restaurant and bar. A continental breakfast is served daily. A fitness centre is available. Free Wi-Fi is included in all rooms.

There is no extra charge if you have an animal. The place is clean but dated. At one time the whole hotel must have been smoking as every room I've stayed in has the "someone once smoked in here smell," but a glade plug in did the trick. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very dated but the water was hot and the water pressure good. Good hotel.

The building was in the process of upgrading.

The building was in the process of upgrading. Significantly the website description did not warn about this - had we known we would not have booked there. Staff were very pleasant but this did not compensate for the poor situation.

The room could use huge update!

The room could use huge update! Coffee pot was dirty, microwave was disgustingly dirty! Holes in walls? Can’t they patch and paint? Carpeting in halls seemed to be worn and dirty. I honestly didn’t feel safe in the room. Note on door and only door that had the note to lift up and push? Why did they give me that room if the door handle was fixed on it????

    We especially enjoyed the quiet.

We especially enjoyed the quiet. If you want to go to Dublin, or surrounding cities, it is not that far away. Rockwood Manor is fairly quiet, and stress free. There are pianos, Pool tables, game room, library so there are relaxing things to do at the Manor, so you don't have to go out, if you don't want to.

I was looking for a hotel that would accept my pets and would have ample space for them to roam and feel comfortable. This hotel worked well, was right off the highway and I felt comfortable with leaving my dogs while knowing they were safe. The staff were very friendly and available. I will say here again.

When we went to check in Thurs. they said they were not going to have power from 11pm - 7am and the staff was snippy about it. We chose not to stay there. She said it was a regional issue, however, we had another place 3 miles from that and never lost power, so I question the hotels reason. Sat. I called to cancel and she said we would have to pay for that night as well. I would not recommend that hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn as always. We come to Dublin to visit family and always stay here because the price is very reasonable. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is always courteous. Although I bring a swimsuit with intentions to swim at the indoor pool, I never have time.

The breakfast was absolutely great! The lady cooking asked to make sure we had enough food. She was wonderful. Very quiet hotel. Staff were very nice. Only issue we had was an odor in our room. But other than that it was a great quiet stay with good beds. We would stay here again.

Great value. Spacious rooms, all the amenities you could expect from hotelier—sans indoor pool—including very friendly staff. Great Mexican restaurant next door, a quick-eat Italian restaurant, also right next door, and located just off of the highway.
