The breakfast options were VERY limited.

The breakfast options were VERY limited. Cereal n toast n a mini cinnamon bun. That was disappointing to say the least. And the pool was not available. It's one if the reasons I booked that hotel. There were tons of food options very close and it was close to the interstate.

Stay away from here! Safty hazzard and not worth the money.

Stay away from here! Safty hazzard and not worth the money. I literally would not stay here again if they paid me. I was really enjoying my trip until we stayed here, i was eager to leave and get back to enjoying my trip. Room had a front door that was very difficult to open, and a bathroom door that didnt shut all the way, and was difficult to open once it was mostly shut. No breakfast, safty hazards, and hard uncomfortable beds.

It was great for bike riding.

It was great for bike riding. We rode on the Great Western Trail, the High Trestle Trail, the Raccoon River Trail and the Clive Greenbelt Trail. We hiked on the Neal Smith Trail up to Saylorville Dam. We visited the sculpture park and Better Homes & Gardens Test Garden. NOTE: They were only open on Friday from noon to 2. We ate at the Whistling Donkey which was right off the High Trestle Trail. We went to the Subway and ice cream shop, which was next door right off the Raccoon Trail in Adel.

The room was run down looking.

The room was run down looking. The coffee pot and cups were dirty, there was dirt on the floors and the carpet felt dirty. The furniture was old The kitchen was extremely worn out. The bed was very comfortable, but the icky feel in the room made it psychologically uncomfortable. The pool was beautiful in the night. It just needs a renovation and it would be a really super hotel. The layout is very interesting and there were a lot of nice people there. It's really sad it is so run down.

It was ok for a place to sleep. However, I will choose another place the next time. Yes my room was a renovated one, however before you start allowing guest to stay there you might want to have it fully renovated and not take 3 years to do it and stop allowing randoms to stay there. You are in Clive, Iowa which is a pretty classy town. Be mindful of who you have staying in your establishment.

We stay at Wildwood Lodge at least twice a year on travels back and forth to see family. The staff are amazing - ALWAYS - and it’s nice to see familiar faces even if they don’t remember us. They are very pet friendly with only a $25 fee per dog. The hotel is always clean and their continental breakfast is pretty darn good.

This hotel is conveniently located just off I-80. The front desk person was very nice and printed some things off for my daughter as the computer in the business center was out of order. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I feel this is a good value for the price we paid.

The Super 8 in Clive was the lowest price option in the Des Moines area during the Hinterland festival weekend. The surfaces in the room were clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable.
