The room was musty smelling. The bed had stains on the mattress pad. The shower had hair on the wall. The shower curtain had yellowish mildew on the bottom. Not the worst hotel, but could be much better

Great location, and I believe the beds were clean. They're trying to renovate but it looks like a toddler is doing it. They should consult someone asap.

I have never stayed in a Super 8 hotel before & despite the Wyndham brand, I was somewhat skeptical. The hotel is near the interstate (I-10), but the loud A/C drowned out the noise. It is also across the highway from gas stations, fast food restaurants, a Dollar Tree & a Super Wal-Mart center. About 3 miles south of Chipley is Falling Waters State Park which was WONDERFUL! Only $5 for park admission w/ high waterfall & boardwalk that goes to a lake for swimming & sandy beach. It is very peaceful & relaxing.
The room smelled awful.
The bed smelled awful.
The 'office' had a little PC on a wobbly table. We had driven 10.5 hrs, just wanted a pillow.
We couldn't even stay there...went promptly to office to return keys..went up the road for another hotel. We Requested refund.
'Per policy ' we don't give money back.
Booking.com needs to remove this property from their listing.
Lesson learned...plenty of other options within 1 mile of this property.
The staff was very friendly and honest, I forgot my cell phone in the room and the housekeeper turned it into the office and I got it back , so that was appreciated, along with the hotel being pet friendly at no additional charge. The AC keeps the room really cold which is important in that kind of heat. it was a Monday night and the hotel was safe and quiet.
Walls had patches not painted. Something on wall near door that appeared to be mold. Office staff exceptionally rude. Booking site stated pet friendly and breakfast available “not at my place” she kept saying. Would never return or recommend.
Check in was fast and simple. We arrived at 2 in the morning so we only slept a few hours, but the bed was super comfortable, there’s also a Burger King, gas station, Waffle House and Walmart a minute or 2 away from the hotel.
