Location was great, approximately halfway between Duluth and Grand Marais, close to Gooseberry Falls S.P. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was exceptional: Don't miss the French toast with blueberry sauce and mascarpone! Rustic Inn Cafe was close and also very good.

We loved the miniature golf. The whole place was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the big comfy chairs in the lobby at night as well. Breakfast was great. Very easy to find something.

I often travel with only needing "1-night stays". I appreciate that AmericInn allows that. Location is perfect. Helpful that it is near a restaurant and gas station which are two things I need when traveling back and forth. I also like that you offer a time in the pool for adults only.
Set in Beaver Bay, North Shore Camping Company offers accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

The location was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. And this was indeed a glamping ground , one with heated bathrooms and a sauna.
Boasting a spa bath, North Shore Luxury Cabin By Gooseberry Falls! is situated in Castle Danger. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal throughout the property.

Castle Danger has great food options like The Rustic Inn Cafe (best delicately battered onion rings ever!). Lake Superior seemed only a few feet away from my window in the Grand Superior Lodge room. Castle Danger is close to Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls State Park, and Two Harbors. Lots to do, see, and eat within a few miles!

Staying here gives you a nice feel for the character of the North Shore including both the terrain and the people. Staff were locals who were very accommodating and helpful and the setting is quite fine as well. They also did a very good job of making the most of limited staffing due to covid. All in all, a very well run facility.

The drive up and down 61 is breathtaking.
The drive up and down 61 is breathtaking. I like looking at majestic Lake Superior and the towns like Two Harbors and Grand Marais are well-kept and fun to check out. Lutsen Mountains is a cool place, too. The Rustic Inn Cafe is just up the road from the Grand Superior Lodge/Resort and has wonderful food and a nice gift shop.

The location is perfect.
The location is perfect. If you have a vehicle; just 15 miles from Two Harbors with restaurants and shopping. We had bicycles only, so we biked to Silver Bay, partly on the Gitchi Gami Trail by Lake Superior, which was spectacular, and partly on 61 :( Had lunch at Camp 61 in Beaver Bay, a must! Stopped to admire the beautiful falls in Gooseberry Falls State Park.
While in Castle Danger we dined both at Grand Superior Grill and Rustic Inn Cafe.

Castle Danger was beautiful.
Castle Danger was beautiful. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked Lake Superior. The dining room and bar were very nice- again overlooking the lake. The restaurant was quite good. Probably the nicest location we stayed in during our trip. Less than a 100 feet to the water's edge
