Comfortable beds. Good pillows. Decent breakfast. Nice night manager.
This is a Quant little get away. Warm, friendly and inviting. Clean fresh sheets. Ice machine available. I would definitely reconsider the Anthracite to anyone visiting Carbondale. Texas road house is a short drive to Dixon. The mall is near by. Lots of stores to choose from.

It is home for me.
It is home for me. It’s sad to see some of the buildings torn down. There are some bad spots at night. Young people hanging around, loud motorcycles going up and down. First time I was afraid to walk around at night

There really is little reason to come to this town.
There really is little reason to come to this town. It is a jump-off point for several tours of the surrounding area, and if you are coming into this area for work, where Scranton would be a little far, this is a very nice hotel, better than Hampton Inn, that is if you have to come to Carbondale. I would not stop here if it wasn't for a work assignment. The lighting in the room is excellent, and although my room faced Main Street, after 8PM or so, it was fairly quiet. If you need to be someplace for multiple months, this isn't a bad place. However if you like to cook, try to find long-term housing closer to Scranton. The improvement and widening of Route 6 (not Business Rt 6) makes the drive from Scranton a much easier commute.
Carbondale is a small town, so I didn’t expect how very nice the hotel and its facilities would be! We had a large room, very clean, bathroom exceptionally clean. It was easy to book, easy check in. There are a couple small restaurants nearby and the city park. There is a parking garage behind the hotel. There was a decent continental breakfast. There was a restaurant within, and some ba quiet facilities. We will definitely stay again.
As we arrived to find the street closed for a festival -we called and the front desk attendant patiently guided us in to the hotel parking lot. We checked in late from traveling and needed nutriment - once again Kierie? (Front Desk) kindly helped us place a to-go order from the restaurant ensuring we had food. Once again very accommodating! Kudos! Breakfast next morning was great prior to our departure.
The location was central to everything we needed, including the wedding venue. I liked the actual bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. I have a lot of hair and there was plenty of product. Seems smart on the hotels part as well, not to shell out a ton of money for those little bottles in every room. The bartender was awesome and friendly.
It was clean and affordable. I found this hotel after the first one I chose turned out to be a filthy nightmare. The staff was so nice, the breakfast was good, even the other guests were nice. If I ever find myself back in this part of PA, I'll stay here again and try Koi. Their outside restaurant recommendations were good. They literally saved my trip.
I’m pretty picky when it comes to hotels, especially when traveling with my 2 toddlers, and I found our room and the hotel in general to be very clean and comfortable. We ordered room service from the steakhouse and it was delicious and very fairly priced. It was an overall great experience and we’d stay here again!
It was very clean, the guy at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful, rooms were clean and smelled fresh ,beds were so soft and comfortable, hot water for days(showering). It’s a damn near PERFECT HOTEL
***** 5stars from me.
Breakfast was poor, egg selection was not eatable, No napkins very few other selections to eat. Suggest step it up or do away with it, it does not match the Hotel.
This hotel was very clean, the staff was very polite. I had an issue with the billing and the front desk clerk was more than happy to explain the issue.
