Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute.
Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute. Unfortunately, we had such a busy rehearsal schedule that we did not have time to explore! We will go back, and plan some exploration time - but we will not stay at El Rancho Boulder Motel.

No coffee pot in room, no dresser for clothes, refrigerator froze solid my bottle of water. $50 deposit for each night I stayed - several days to get back. Only general store for food. I would not stay here again.

A lovely little town with charm.
A lovely little town with charm. It was clean, super easy to navigate and so very safe. It was a perfect location for things we wanted to do: see Hoover Dam, check out Lake Mead and do some hiking. This is a perfect city for a weekend get away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Interesting small town.
Interesting small town. Plenty of amenties and different dining choices for such a small town. Would like to go again with my wife and spend a weekend! Had an easy time getting a place to eat and was well taken care of by all of the restaruants I visited. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality all around! Oh yes, if you stay in town there is really no need to drive around. Easily walkable and nice wide sidewalks to get around.

The shopping was very fun.
The shopping was very fun. Dining was amazing, especially Milo's and BrewPub - loved the atmosphere and the food and drinks! Driving to Lake Mead and exploring off-road was so much fun! The amount of beautiful scenery is not lacking.
Historic Boulder City was gorgeous, especially at night with all the Christmas lights. It was very close to Hoover Dam, which is why we were visiting the area. The motel's 1965 vibes were quaint, and certainly authentic as it's unlikely that anything has been updated since it was originally built (good & bad!)! The night manager was friendly and helpful. The room size was adequate, especially for an older motel. The curbside parking was very convenient. I felt safe to sleep there with my family.
The young lady at the front desk was so sweet! This town, Boulder City, is a cute, hip little town. Everything looks retro right out of the 60's. The room was very clean. Breakfast was free at the diner right across the street. They had a special "hotel breakfast" menu for the hotel guests. It was delicious. It was towards the end of our 15 day western adventure, so we had to do laundry. Laundry room was clean and machines worked great.
Good location between Lake Mead and Boulder City. The room was very clean and comfortable, although slightly outdated. Nice big TV in the room, and I always appreciate having a microwave and fridge. Reception staff were super nice. I realize the prices for hotels anywhere near Las Vegas is silly money, but you get much better value further on in Arizona and Utah, so I can't help but compare. That said, I'd happily stay here again.
The location is fantastic. Walkable to the entire wonderful
Town of Boulder City. Also very pet friendly. No weight limits like
Other hotels in Boulder City. Also, the staff was amazing. So friendly and welcoming. As far as customer service, this is the best we have ever received when traveling. Our new go to when visiting family in Boulder City. Room was also big and roomy. Comfortable beds and great pillows.
Based on the photos from booking.com I wasn't expecting such a large casino hotel. Nevertheless, we had a good stay. The service and food in the restaurant were quite good. From the hotel it is an easy to walk to an abandoned rail line with some tunnels along Lake Mead. Parking was plentiful and it was easy to park close to the hotel entrance.
The mattress of the bed was extremely good. The staff was polite. My request for a quiet room was respected. The hotel is located in the city center. The center of Boulder City reminded me a bit of our European cities where one can walk on
a sidewalk next to the street instead of having to drive by car. The room was clean.
The pet friendly policy and location for walking dogs . The restaurant is outstanding I’ve yet to have a bad meal at the cafe.I have been staying there for several years during the boating season. I will be there soon in September after this Labor Day rush . The staff are all very professional and courteous .
I will use this facility again when I am in NV, because the experience was par excellence A plus customer service.
I was pleased with the greeting I received when I entered the hotel and registered at the desk.
Everyone was kind and courteous and I had a very comfortable night.
The hotel and location far exceeded our expectations. Boulder is a lovely town with a fascinating history and lovely sculptures. Location is perfect for visiting the Hoover Dam and Las Vegas. We stayed here on the last night of our holiday before getting our flight home.
Great value for the standard room rate! Loved the motel was in the Boulder City historic district and walking distance to restaurants and antique stores. Housekeeping brought us fresh towels every morning.
The coffee was good (they could use some flavored packets coffee creamers but beggers can't be choosy) . The Staff were great. I felt welcomed for the entire stay in Boulder City.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. It was located close to the Hoover Dam visitor attraction. The Casino/hotel concept made for an interesting overnight stop.
Great stop between Grand Canyon and Death Valley. Next to the Hoover Dam.
The food at the BigHorn Cafe in the hotel was really good and the service was friendly.
