The hotel was very clean and well kept. Our room was very clean, we had plenty of hot water, water pressure was great, and it was very quiet. The pool and gym were both very clean, plenty of towels, equipment in working order, etc. The breakfast had plenty of options for every type of diet/taste and far exceeded our expectations. The complementary dog treats, waters and coffee were a great added touch. Staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area.

I went to go to the bar. The front desk lady was flirting with me. I didn't know that her boyfriend was the bartender. That cut me off and did not serve me alcohol when she was very mean to me. Even when I tried to order a regular Coke or cola, she would not let me she just gave me water and told me to go to bed because she was mad at her boyfriend was mad at her. I got caught in a personal problem.Worse experience I ever had

We were there to see the school. It was great. Surrounding area nice, interesting non-chain options for dining, which we appreciated. Weird that a main street runs right through the middle of campus, but enjoyed and would like to go back to Boone. It snowed on 5 April!

We've been to this area a couple of times over the years, and tend to go back as we really like the area. It is close to an entrance for the Blue Ridge Parkway, with an overlook just a few minutes down the road. The restaurants are good, but Dan'l Boone Inn is an absolute must every time we are in the area. There are plenty of small hiking trails, and waterfalls, to see.

There isn't much to review.
There isn't much to review. I made a reservation at the Holiday Inn because they had an indoor pool, and brought a 12-year old up so we could swim and have a good time. However, when we arrived, the hotel said the pool was 'under maintenance' and not available. A wasted 2.5 hour trip.

Boone is a great town.
Boone is a great town. Clean, orderly, with plenty facilities, hotels, restaurants, good roads and friendly people. But terrible traffic too many cars and aggressive drivers. Beautiful area, best kept secret in NC. I love Boone, Blowing Rock, GF mountain, Tweetsee rr and small towns. Great environment.
I was greeted by Isaac at check in who made me feel welcome and was very friendly and accommodating. At breakfast, Mary was the attendant in the dining area. She was very pleasant to talk with and she took extra care in making sure all of the tables were clean and no one needed anything. I felt like I was staying at a home away from home. Great staff - great stay - great location! Hampton Inn Is where I tell everyone to stay when they visit Boone!
Location is off beaten path but takes less than 10 minutes from main streets. It's rustic but modern for a relaxing stay. It actually started as a family home for a prolific architect, seems like a home more than resort. Overall it's a real gem in the mountains of Boone, watched 2 deers under our deck each morning. They hold weddings, reunions and such with huge outdoor decks and also fine dining if interested
Property sits on a busy street, easy to find, across from a mall with a couple of restaurants very near. The street side of hotel can be a bit loud.
Breakfast is a festival of every carb wrapped in plastic as well as some fresh fruit (in plastic) and yogurt. (This i was not told of until after booking a no cancel room). Room was comfy an clean. Has outside porch to sit on to eat if you wish
The pros: The hotel has a nice rooftop bar with good views of the town and mountain. The staff that we encountered were very friendly and nice. The location of the hotel is good as its in the middle of downtown Boone and close to several shops and restaurants that are walkable. It’s also very close to App State University
I liked how roomy the room was! There were also more amenities than I expected and the refreshments in the market were relatively cheap for a hotel in a tourist trap town. If I get the opportunity I will definitely be booking with Comfort Suites again! The breakfast was also really good.
We travel a lot and I have to say the people that work at this hotel are the NICEST I’ve ever come across. From the front desk staff to the custodial staff, they greeted everyone and were helpful. Rooms were thoroughly cleaned and comfortable. Location in Boone was great.
We loved the hotel comfortable, clean and excellent location. All the staff were friendly. The breakfast varied and the cafeteria staff always smiling. The spacious room and comfortable beds. My son enjoyed the pool and waffles. We will be back again for sure
The staff were very nice and cimmunitive. They helped me with questions I had about the area and restaurants I inquired about. This is a great hotel to stay for a ski trip with the family or a weekend getaway for a couple! Love it and I will be returning soon!
The accessibility to Blowing Rock & Boone Towns. The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather mountain, with other attractions. Forgot to mention that the pics that is on the Booking.com are exactly what is on the property.
I like this hotel because it is clean, the pool is great, breakfast is always on time and many choices to pick. Staff is nice too. This is the second time I stayed here. And prices very affordable. Thank you 😊.
Tastefully renovated old motel, with great design features and comfortable rooms. A 45 minute walk into Boone & university campus. Great to sit by fire pit in the evening with a drink.
Lovely stay in the mountains of Boone. Such a great location and loved that the hotel felt themed to the location. Very comfortable and nice staff. Free breakfast was very good.
