Breakfast was fine. Food was hot. It was obvious it was off season, and it was appreciated that there was food. The first night (before the eclipse), it was obvious that the staff realized there was going to be a big crowd, because some rooms got a phone call asking if they would be eating dinner at the establishement. My room did not, but friends staying at the hotel did. I'm not sure why.

Mike and Barb went above and beyond to make our 1-day visit as comfortable and cozy as possible. The room we got had a stunning vista to a tiny waterfall, which we completely did not expect! The sounds of the water were a delight, along with the birds and crickets singing all through the mountains, what a soul-cleanser. I had no idea Vermont was this glorious. Plenty good restaurants just a short drive away, plus a stunning waterfall on an 11min hike. Mike made us great breakfast too :)

The location is very convenient, close to Killington mountain and numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. The common areas are comfortable. I loved the fireplace with counches and chairs and the game room with the oh so nice bean bag chairs The room was clean and comfortable.
