I liked the hotel, however the hotel could not find our reservation. Finally, they gave us a room that I consider a downgrade. We were supposed to have a king suite but instead we had a queen bed. It took a rather long time to find us a room. It was late when we arrived and we were tired. This could easily have been avoided. I reserved with booking.com. There should have been better communication! They took my phone from me to look at my reservation # . Did not feel comfortable with it out of my site. I feel this could have been handled much better and compensated for our downgrade and our waste of time

The people of this town are very sweet.
The people of this town are very sweet. Sonny’s is a good restaurant. It has the amenities needed for a basic stay overnight. It is kind of a dirty, trashy town. Very run down in parts, trash on roads, sad because the people are actually really nice there.

It was convenient to locations in Pittsburgh, Flight 93 Memorial and the Laurel Highlands area of Pennsylvania. If you stay in the area the Eat'n Park in the area has awesome breakfasts and dinners.

I was there for the 4th of July and a family memorial.
I was there for the 4th of July and a family memorial.
There were several eateries near by. Fast food and steakhouse
and a Fish Shake restaurant. Eaton Park was a very good family restaurant next to highway. You will need to get one breakfast there for sure. Pancakes and waffles are their specialties. Familiar dinner and lunch choices were fine for us since we had several family gatherings at homes. We also enjoyed the restaurants in Spears. Try The Backporch for nicer dinner, Spears Street Inn was wonderful for patio lunch near the Monongahela River. Greendance, the winery at Sandhill has really great ambience, wineshop and bakery with fresh berry pies and jams. Tasting room was beautiful. Good lunch sandwiches for garden setting, surrounded by apple orchards and blueberry fields along with the vineyard. Well run and worth a few windy roads to get to. We purchased a couple dessert wines.
We would have enjoyed the antique stores in Belle Vernon and area but due to the holiday they were closed. I have enjoyed them on previous trips.

Very relaxing stay. Stay very accommodating.
Very relaxing stay. Stay very accommodating. Visiting relatives so my time was spent with them.
Overall I would choose this facility again.
Price is right. There is a lot to see in a 25-30 mile radius. Perhaps next time I can take in the sites.
Many restaurants nearby, but due to Covid 19 I ate either in the room or with family.
The staff was awesome! Everything my family and I needed was provided for us and we had a great stay. We were originally only supposed to stay one night but our rental property wasn’t ready on time. It was super simple to book the room for an additional night without having to repack and move down the hall. We were also traveling with cats and this is one of the only 2 pet friendly hotels in the area. There is a fitness room. I live in this area now but if I ever need a hotel for a night, I’ll choose this one!
Very convenient exit and entrance to the Penn I-70 interstate. Small parking lot next to the rooms. This is an older single story hotel, and the room was clean and maintained. Room has microwave, fridge, wi-fi, and plenty of electrical outlets. The management is friendly. For traveling and just needing a clean safe place for the night this hotel at a lower price fit the book. Don't let the first look turn you off. For a good nights stay while traveling it was great.
I booked hotel for a week, requested a military discount as I was told I would get one upon arrival and proof needed to be shown. The swimming pool was to be fully funtionable as stated during booking. The pool was closed for the whole week. This was to be one of the major highlights of our visiting vacation.
Had 2 suites. The suite in 215 had small bugs in the kitchen area the minute we walked in and turned in the light. Crawling up walls and in bathroom. Rooms with kitchens should be fumigated with every checkout. Left all my belongings outside to make sure I did not bring them home.
The hotel manager was beyond gracious. Our family came from all over the US to attend a funeral and she made all of our stays much less sad. She is an amazing woman that handled everything professionally even with a shortage of staff.
The breakfast is delicious. The evening staff usually makes cookies for the lobby area and there is always coffee any time of the day or night. The room super clean and pillows very comfy
