Penley House is a beautiful Victorian home which is wonderfully kept and comfortable. Our room was right next to the full bathroom. Both rooms were big and comfortable. Teresa was very accommodating and kind. It was close to restaurants and it was easy to get across to Lewiston. The breakfast was good and the dining room was homey and put you at ease to enjoy a meal. I was told there was a pedestrian bridge nearby over the river. If I had more time, I would have definitely checked it out.

Super nice staff. What was amazing was that the hotel provided its gets with Eclipse glasses as we were there the day of the eclipse. All the local stores were sold out of the glasses. They also welcome you with cupcakes and cookies. Great place to stay!

We had a very clean and spacious room and there were conveniences in the common area: a coffeemaker, small refrigerator and snacks. The host was very friendly and told us some of the history of the house. We had a delicious hot breakfast in the morning. We couldn't have asked for nicer accommodations!
