Worst environment ever. There was little running water, the toilet made noise the entire night, and the wardrobes were filthy and very old. I definitely will not be returning!!!!!

The apartment was newly constructed and very modern. The AC worked great. The close proximity to the airport was very convenient and the hosts provided transportation to and from the airport for a modest fee, which suited our needs perfectly.

Kevin was great. He was very welcoming and made sure we had things we needed. We stayed for one night and taxi took about 20 minutes from the airport. There were two double bedrooms with air conditioning and very comfortable double beds. It was easy to make hot drinks and fridge and cooker were available. The TV worked well and we had access to Netflix. Wi-fi signal was excellent.

I can't thank Soniara and her husband enough. They have become friends to us: the accommodation was great, they took great care of us, we even spent the day together, they showed us the most beautiful places and we tasted the local food. On our return, even though we were no longer staying with them, they came to pick us up at the airport, helped us rent a car, they are the nicest and most wonderful people we have ever met. They are some of the best memories of our trip and will always have a place in our homes. Highly recommended!

Piarco is close to the airport, two nice malls and several restaurants. No real sights to see unless you drive a bit but that can be arranged. Sightseeing wasn't part of our plans. I am very familiar with the area and had a car.i felt safe parking at the hotel .

Okay-ish hotel. Very bad for safety reasons.
Okay-ish hotel. Very bad for safety reasons. A driver who dropped me to the airport extracted my number from private booking records and sent inappropriate messages. Total breach of privacy and a big compromise of my safety.
Utterly distasteful and disgusting behavior by both the receptionist staff and the driver

I liked the peacefulness and cleanliness.
The pool was great, room has well décor.
We purchased food before we reached but they didnt even have drinks available or ice or even bottled water.
I would avoid booking a room without a fridge.

We had an excellent trip, visiting Maracas bay, Las Queas eating Bake & Shake, children went to Jouvert & Carnival and enjoyed both. We all felt so safe travelling around the Island and at no time felt we couldn't travel to any area of Trinidad.

I enjoyed the relaxing area where I was able to view all the cultural recipes and places of interest in TNT. Not sure what the area is called. It was easy to get around. I ate at churches chicken. Was not the best at the time of evening.
It is family owned and run, not a chain. it was a great location, 5 minutes to the airport. It was incredibly clean, shuttle service was great and the manager/ son of the owner was so helpful. Some of the amenities, like the restaurant were closed but he bought beer for us, ordered our pizza for us and opened the dining area so we could eat at the tables. He was very welcoming and accommodating. The view from the roof deck patio was also very nice.
if you arrive at Trinidad at very late night, this is the right hotel to stay. it’s about 6km to the airport and they provide free shuttle for coming & going to the airport.
Although the hotel's facilities are very basic and expensive, its restaurant is very good. the price is reasonable, and the food is delicious, especially the Thai food.
all members of staff were very nice and friendly.
very clean room.
This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you need to be near the airport. The owner Mike is very kind and caring. The staff as well. From the shuttle all the way to the little details that made my tough flight so much better. The beds are comfy, very clean. And the breakfast was delicious. I didn’t get to try the restaurant because it closes Monday nights, but hear only good things about it.
Shuttle was a great service, much appreciated given our late arrival. We had to change rooms at first because the door wouldn't lock and the only window looked onto a hallway. The second room's air-con was so cold and unadjustable that we had to sleep at the bottom of the bed. Overall, a tired hotel, friendly staff, small rooms but adequate for a quick overnight.
Grand Diamond Hotel was clean, comfortable and loaded with hospitality! The location offered easy access to the airport and dining. The owner and staff created a warm welcoming environment and the aesthetics of the hotel was surprisingly rich and merged cultures providing a unique experience. The dining was also a pleasant surprise!
I liked the fact that there was a free airport shuttle to and from the airport. The staff was very friendly and well trained. The rooms were well cleaned and the food in the restaurant was delicious. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Trinidad.
Upon booking, I was contacted to pay for the stag, and also offered airport transportation. Everything was smooth, and easy. Much easier than some experiences I’ve had with a travel agent. The property was larger than expected, I’d definitely stay again.
1) Location to Airport (5 Mins away)
2) Reasonably Priced and Perfect for short stays (overnight/layover)
3) Host was kind to offer airport pickup though I didnt need it.
4) Wifi was sufficient
Great location....close to airport...warm hospitality....kindness and care of Maude and Derick were amazing. Airport shuttle to and from airport was a plus. It's a little home away from home.
The room was good and spacious. We liked the location, with the Piarco plaza opposite the property we were able to go to the Pharmacy, supermarket and we found it to be very convenient.
The Hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Bedroom was spacious and clean. Location quiet and private. They had a very classy pool/bar/restaurant area.
The wifi used name and password didn't work had to call front desk to get a code.
The price is expensive but the place is up to international hotel standards
